Okay so I chickened out installing the crossfire module into the i6x but decided to do an antenna mod and battery mod that will let me use up to a 6s battery lol. The battery mod involved soldering in a pdb that converts raw voltage into 5v but the i6x is meant to be from 4AAA bats (6volts)...

I use those same motors on my 450 build they are solid. VTX is only necessary for fpv flight, if you're only doing autonomous inav missions it's not needed. If you use a gopro camera or something similar you might be able to use a wifi app to a phone or tablet for fpv. Transmitter and reciever...

Emax Eco motors are very good and a great price.

Most of my kwads have smart audio connected to the fc for osd control which is very useful but some cameras can also be controlled in a similar fashion. Might be useful for changing camera settings via osd.

Gotta delete stuff but keep a year by year file gonna try a year in review this year lol. I try to save one vid per session. I've fallen in love with the tbs v3 5" (maybe the v2?) but still use the iflight on the afro build.

When I first setup my O.G. wizard this was the video that helped me:

Calibrate the voltage in betaflight then calibrate the escs. Check to make sure motors function correctly in bf motors tab.

Yep sometimes you can modify those cheap toy drones for better range if you're skilled at soldering onto boards. Cool hope it works keep us posted.
