    Dent in reciever

Hello my very good friends at the super awesome quadcopter forum! It's your buddy dugdog47 aka Stardogfpv with yet another simple question lol. Will a dent in this silver part on a reciever cause range issues? This one never seems to get good range and now I've noticed it's dented lol...

    Flysky crossfire mod

Yep we gotta mod these things they simply are not good enough as they are lol. Regarding the jumper t16 pro ribbon cable issue there is a facebook group dedicated to the jumper t12/t16s and like every single problem people have is related to the ribbon cables. Seems like every time I turn mine...

    Flysky crossfire mod

Looks like mine: My range has improved significantly and not only that but the signal actually "goes through" objects better now. I flew to an area about 300 meters away behind some trees and shrubs usually my tx starts beeping and rssi drops to 0 and it'll failsafe but this time I was able to...

    Flysky crossfire mod

Okay so I chickened out installing the crossfire module into the i6x but decided to do an antenna mod and battery mod that will let me use up to a 6s battery lol. The battery mod involved soldering in a pdb that converts raw voltage into 5v but the i6x is meant to be from 4AAA bats (6volts)...

    Parts for first DIY Quadcopter

I use those same motors on my 450 build they are solid. VTX is only necessary for fpv flight, if you're only doing autonomous inav missions it's not needed. If you use a gopro camera or something similar you might be able to use a wifi app to a phone or tablet for fpv. Transmitter and reciever...

    Recommended motors.

Emax Eco motors are very good and a great price.

    VTX, FC, and camera connection

Most of my kwads have smart audio connected to the fc for osd control which is very useful but some cameras can also be controlled in a similar fashion. Might be useful for changing camera settings via osd.

    Some more flying vids

Gotta delete stuff but keep a year by year file gonna try a year in review this year lol. I try to save one vid per session. I've fallen in love with the tbs v3 5" (maybe the v2?) but still use the iflight on the afro build.

    wizard x220 transmitter problem

Calibrate the voltage in betaflight then calibrate the escs. Check to make sure motors function correctly in bf motors tab.

    EACHINE E511 Controller Antenna Modification

Yep sometimes you can modify those cheap toy drones for better range if you're skilled at soldering onto boards. Cool hope it works keep us posted.
