must have needed quite a risk-assessment - four carbon-fibre buzz-saws with a robotic brain flying over a dense crowd...

450 Sized Quad "Grasshopper Effect" Problem

your setup sounds a lot like mine (dets in my sig), only diff seems to be that my ESC's are 25A. So it should fly...

    KK 2.1.5 Board ***HELP***

hi mate, 1) yes, if your yaw is reversed, you'd have to go down and left to arm, down and right to disarm. If you've got no errors and it's still not arming, maybe your throttle trim is wrong and doesn't get to zero - in the receiver test, with throttle at the bottom, it should show 0 and...

    HELP!!!!-No Output from Control Board

so the two thick wires on the ESC go to the battery, which should be around 12V (not 19V, you're likely to fry it). The three thick wires connect with the motor (doesn't matter which wire connects with which at this stage, you can swap them round later to get the right rotation direction), and...

    HELP!!!!-No Output from Control Board

were you able to arm the board from the tx ? The ESC's won't do anything unless its armed. Any errors showing on the home page on the controller ? I'd first check you've got the right voltage on the board, should be 5V on both the receiver bus and ESC output 1 (those are linked, Outputs 2-8...

    **SK450 SETUP**

yeah< jackson asked me the other day on that FlySky FS i6 - here's my 'review': hi mate, I've certainly got no complaints with it, but then I upgraded from a years-old dinosaur tx (1 meter antenna, no digital settings at all) so I'm well happy ! Build quality seems decent, and no, not too...

As the topic says: What went wrong?

are you sure it's not a sync issue between your motors and ESC's, same as I was having, elsewhere in this forum section ? Since you've not swapped your motors out, and not mentioned changing the settings in the ESCs, that could still be there, no ?

    My First Crash P2V+

is that the same as turning self-level off ? The only carbon fibre prop I've managed to break was by driving my quad sideways into the stoney ground at high speed with self-level off whilst tuning it. Quite fun though, seeing how twitchy it gets.

    Discount FPV from Eachine

Hopefully you can see from these. The FCB is on top, inside the anti-static box it came in. They're all on plastic stand-offs. It's an SK450 frame I was actually thinking that if I can find stand-offs long enough, that I could put another frame layer under where the battery is now...

    Discount FPV from Eachine

do those only work with DJI Phantoms, or could I mount it on my rig and control it with my KK2.1.5 and/or spare rx channel ? I like the Banggood prices better, and they even ship from UK warehouse for 32 quid !

motor failure crash - please help !

yeah, spare ESC on order, and spare frame as well, won't hurt to have a few spare legs around, and I can use the extra middle plates for mounting stuff, and an ESC programming card. It fell from about 10m when it broke the frame, flipped over immediately and fell end over end so no chance of...

As the topic says: What went wrong?

it's not an ESC/Motor sync problem is it, same as I seem to be having in my thread here After all, as George says, seems the only thing you've not swapped out are the motors

motor failure crash - please help !

ok, I've been doing a lot of googling on this issue and I'm now convinced it's an ESC/Motor Sync issue. In fact I think I'm probably getting it quite frequently, I have moments in-flight where I get a wobble and a beep (not a low-battery beep), but without a catastrophic engine stop - I'd not...

not sure how much it weighs tbh, though it was definitely more sluggish on take-off. I do want to go down the go-pro and gymbal route at some point
