If you flash with Stevies it is great, feild adjustable, and easy to setup. Not good for long range though as there is no option of a GPS.

    Quadcopter Science Project

Haha, yes FPV is sure something to get used to.

    Help with idea

BEC is usually integrated into the ESC. Different jobs, the BEC is a regulator that takes the 12v to 5v. The ESC controls the motors.

I need help with my first build

You can try, but it is certainly not recommended.

What are you asking? Are you talking about BEC?

As the topic says: What went wrong?

Haha, I hope interesting does not include it flipping and flying away.

I need help with my first build

I don't see any reason the ESC would have failed except maybe a short or an imperfection at the sweat shop.

I need help with my first build

Also give a link to the motors you have. I don't yet see why an ESC might burn out.

I need help with my first build

Do you have the motors/props 2 CW and 2 CCW set up correctly? Check that the top left is CW, top right is CCW, bottom right is CW, and bottom left is CCW. So: CW-------CCW CCW-------CW

As the topic says: What went wrong?

Maybe put them on wrong like CW prop on CCW motor, upside down they flex differently. But be careful either way.

As the topic says: What went wrong?

Maybe, but don't run them wide open too long, could burn something out.

    My First Crash P2V+

Such calm flying at fist haha. I have not had such good luck with cheap CF props as to hardly break them haha.

As the topic says: What went wrong?

Check the ESC, some of the solder may be bridged.

I have a problem with my quad

It tries to flip? Does it take off at all, or does it immediently flip? Also you need a USB-ASP programming cable, the KK uses the 6-pin type

    Help with idea

Just a way of saying power distribution cable, but you solder it together in a way that will better fit your needs.

    Help with idea

I'd suggest you try stay away from 4-in-1 ESCs, most people report lots of problems, and if one goes out you have to pay more. The power distribution board is only to get power where it needs to go, if you only have one device that needs main power, than no. you can also make a power loom if...

I have a problem with my quad

Have you balanced the props? That made mine un-flyable.

    **SK450 SETUP**

DEFIANTLY buy spares, haha. Nobody likes waiting for props, I had a spare set and broke all but one CCW and have 3 CW. So consider buying 3 sets haha, when you break one or two out of the first set order the second, unless you are using amazon prime.

    **SK450 SETUP**

All props need balancing, even the $80 sets. Plastic usually explodes if you don't get rid of it when you see stress cracks, and carbon fibre explodes if cracked and unbalanced, but it is a lot better. I have not had much luck with the really cheap CF, it is usually very unbalanced and if...
