    Automatic and robotic quadricopter

This is a little beyond my current skill and free time, I will help you with what I can. One thing to consider though is that this would a be a serious step in a security system, and if someone breaks in to a place they could easily down a noisy quadcopter with the swat of a stick/their hand...

Ok, great so all that adds up to around a 450mm size, I think you would like Mutiwii, maybe the Naza, but I personally don't trust the NAZA (I have never used the Naza personally). With that budget you could get a DJI, but you may get more bang for your buck building one, so what type of camera...

    Rate A Rotor! Website

Nice site, could use a little formatting, also there may be a vulnerability in the rating system.

    Comparable fpv

If you want a cheap camera to record with take a look into the Runcam. I have suggested it many times in the short time that it has been out, as I believe it gives you the best bang for your buck. Take a look at some of the videos done with it, they are great quality, especially for a price...

What are you planning to do with this. The reason I ask is so I know what you will need.

    Automatic and robotic quadricopter

The first video with the 3D model of the room is defiantly more powerful than an Arduino, at least a Beagle bone, could easily be an Arduino with a board computer like a Raspberry Pi. If you are just moving forward you may only need two sensors. You could make one operate about as fast as...

*WARNING* Avoid Twister Quattro X *WARNING*

Wow, that is just sad, in the US we have useless regulations where they are not needed and cost a lot to uphold, right alongside the useful ones. .

    F450 with KK2.1.5: Sensor Issue

Hmm, were the props and motor's rotation for sure correct? Also did you have board offset enabled? And before you take the time to tune it you should upgrade to Steveis Pro firmware.

*WARNING* Avoid Twister Quattro X *WARNING*

I thought Cheerston was based out of China? Or are they just made there? Anyways I wish you well, and don't forget that the Naza also has a flyaway problem, though ofttimes associated with user error, not always. If these things (crap) were made in the UK or US they would at least have...

    Automatic and robotic quadricopter

Welcome to quadcopter forums It is possible, ans has been done, but assuming you have a good bit of experience with a computer language like C, it will be somewhat hard. What is your native language? I would like to find some tutorials that will help, but they would need to be in a language...

    Need a new controller recommendation?

Haha, you'd be surprised there are a few others around this price, if I had a schematic or access to it it would not be hard to make it able to use a full range receiver, not that you would need too much longer, as you won't be able to see it too far out. A simple antenna mod would do a lot...

    Need a new controller recommendation?

That is probably one of the best toy grade mini quad I have seen, but the range is kinda small. You may have a hard time controlling that. Oh, just watched, you can't really rely on headless mode as a RTH, it does not use GPS, but an electric compass. Basically you have to know where it...

    Trouble callibrating ESCs

Check your soldering for the offending ESC, check that all of the joints look good, and that everything is wired correctly, how hot is it getting, too hot to touch, or just about that? Also may try calibrating them again.

First Build, Will all this work well together?

Also sorry for the late reply, your list slipped me, I think I was at MEPS (thought is said march)when this was posted as I usually reply within a few hours, maybe a day after things posted in first builds.

First Build, Will all this work well together?

All looks great, but what flight controller are you panning on using? The KK2.1.5 is great for a simple build, but has no GPS, you may want to look at this list. Edited, did not see last little bit there :)

    New scratchbuild V2:

If you have not bought the quantum goggles definitely get the version two. Also what is the latest update?

    need advice

The 4-in-1 ESCs are fine, but I have heard a lot of problems on them, and if one has a problem you have to buy a whole new one. Also you cannot flash them with a better firmware. Nevertheless they are tidy, and easy.
