Action cam, new kid on the block.

Have you found a good cheap one that records 1080 @ 60fps?

$1,000 Budget !! Please help me build one.

Long times = Long arms + large props + low kv motors + large batteries. Not sure if you will get nimble out of this combination. Tarot 650 or x4 may suit you for your requirements. You could look into the Tarot 680 or x6. The x4 can spin 24 inch props!

    Kit question

I would go with a 3 cell, but ecalc is failing on every combination I checked for your setup. I run 2216 motors on mine which are a bit larger so I really don't know what battery to run on yours. You could check with the seller for recommendations. Thats what I did for my first build.

    Kit question

I run 4000mah - 5000mah 25-50c 4cell on my 500. The time range is 8 - 12 minutes of flight time with 900kv motors. Those motors are 2-3 cell. You could use eclac to figure out what would work best for you. http://www.ecalc.ch/xcoptercalc.php

    Kit question

It always best to solder, but I have been using bullets on the last few builds. Good choice, but it may be a little scary starting out so big lol. I think you will love a 500mm. I really enjoy mine.

    GPS Locator

Thanks for the advice, and these look good, but I think I want something that has GPS tracking. I may be able to use the loc8tor along side my Taranis gps, but if I fly out of range, and lose radio signal then it may not help.

    GPS Locator

Do you know if it is self powered, and does it need a signal to arm? My only concern is if the main battery gets throw off of the quad in a crash scenario. The one I lost had to have thrown the battery since the radio lost signal and the goggles went to static.

    GPS Locator

Anyone using or know of a good one to invest in? I lost one quad in the woods, and want to make sure this does not happen again.

    Batteries

I am not sure on this model. You should be able to find something on the manufactures website.

    Batteries

What are you running with the battery? Usually different mah is fine. Especially when it is this small of a difference.

    Naza Yaw Issue.

I got it! Just in-case anyone else has this issue here is the fix! Flashing to Afro NFET V2015-04-19 was the answer! She is flying like a boss now! I tried every setting combination that made sense, but it was still not working correctly. I got it to stop crashing, but it still did not work...

    Naza Yaw Issue.

I am having a terrible time with my tarot 680 and Naza yaw. Roll, pitch, throttle all work flawlessly, but yaw is not. It's fine when I slowly yaw, but if I give it a quick yaw CRASH! Build configuration Tarot 680 Afro 30amp ESCs flashed with Blheli 13.2 [2] 5200 mah 10/20c 4s Avroto 2814...

What flight controller is the best

What Jackson said. I prefer dji at the moment for my larger arial footage quad and hex, and naze32 for my 250.

CARBON FIBER 320 SIZE QUAD AND DX6

Good to hear these are good! I just purchased 6 of these, flashed simonk to the atmel, and then blheli with the afro linker, but I have not had them air yet. I am planning on them being in the air this weekend :)
