    Need the "pros" advice!

Its a complete different world with diy quads..Its not as simple as we have it now with installing a battery and binding the radio and were off flying....where you might come close to yourself or someone else with the quad by accident or even on purpose, its much more dangerous with the more...

    Need the "pros" advice!

The brand of products all seem to be what you can find almost anyplace. If you have the esc and motors matched to give some head room and choose the proper props it all should work well enough. Its not un common for even more expensive brand items to fail just the same ...name brand equals a...

    New Battery Recommendations

Im not really a nano tech fan of any kind..not sure how they are built today but not long ago they couldnt perform better than no name stock brand batteries in a small helicopter. Hyperion are very high quality batteries and i would look into those as a possible option...When i use lipo for rc...

    DM007 Won't take off

I would have to say yes on that...im surprised the board is even allowing any voltage that low to begin with..Id be very careful with that. It may be possible the charger it may have come with is not charging properly at all. I recommend investing in a proper charger for your safety..if you...

    SYMA X5C-1 coming soon.

Yea, its time for a little bigger quad in the stable...then maybe the X8C next...from there goes a diy build of some sorts.

    DM007 Won't take off

Did you charge the battery fully?..and if so, did you confirm the voltage once charged?..Typically if it isnt enough voltage the quad goes into a low voltage mode which usually stops all operation...if thats not working then it is possible the voltage is too low to lift the quad and somehow...

    SYMA X5C-1 coming soon.

I filed my income tax today and will be using some of the return for a new quad...I cant think of a better one to get than the X5C-1 ..The rest of the money is going to some car audio upgrades..haha. I plan to do a full review and a full modification thread..Im not one to leave well enough...

Syma X5SC Not working - HELP

Basically just the motor wires to the board need soldered on unless they use plugs..the battery wires and antenna are typically already soldered on. Should be maybe 4 screws holding on the board and thats about it.

Syma X5SC Not working - HELP

The flashing quad on the radio is supposed to do that if the quad works or not..its just some flashy thing or whatever they program in ..I have a radio for a helicopter that does this also ..it doesnt mean something isnt working with the radio

Syma X5SC Not working - HELP

When you receive a new battery it is always never fully charged..Lipo batteries are stored at 3.7 volts....Storing a fully charged lipo will destroy the battery. I listed above how to "re calibrate" the quad..also to "bind" the quad the throttle is pushed to full throttle then back down...

    Syma x8w batteries

This may not be a route you choose to take but its an option for you....they have those kits priced pretty low...with one of those kits everything can be mounted inside the shell of the quad and no huge cameras or gimbals sticking down on the quad.

    Syma x8w batteries

This is not in the uk but they may ship there or maybe you have a similar outlet to purchase from. http://www.fpvhobby.com/9-rtu-wireless-camera. You would have basically no added load to the quad, increasing your flight times significantly with even a stock battery...motor life would...

    Syma x8w batteries

Well, some remove the prop guards and landing gear but, this is of course with no camera attached for the landing gear. Most seem to be in search of that perfect video with no regards to how its affecting the performance and durability of a toy quad with weight. Some remove camera internals...

    Syma x8w batteries

Im not aware of any "true" upgrade motors for the x8c and other x8 models. They are either d40 or d50 sized motors, cant remember which but the best way to improve performance is to drop weight, not add it.

    Syma x8w batteries

You reach a point where any extra capacity becomes no improvement at all and becomes more detrimental to performance. More capacity is always more weight...If you can find 100 maybe 250 mah more it might give you 20 to 30 seconds more time but also puts more stress on the motors due to the...

    X5SC problem

Great news to hear...High rate programs the flight board to be more aggressive...Remember, When you re calibrate your quad you want it to be in high rate. When the quad acts up sometimes or after a crash its always a good idea to re calibrate to ensure its going to fly at its best...I just re...

    Drone Registration Labels

Im glad i like little quads that dont even weigh 50g and, bigger ones that can carry a video camera and not weigh 250g. 200mm quads and Mobius cams or nano fpv for the win.
