DM007 Won't take off

Hi all. Just bought a DM007 and it won't take off. The controller connects to the copter and the props spin, I can use full throttle and the copter seems like it does not have enough juice to take off. I have taken off the camera just to lighten the load. I have also changed the props and ensuring that they are on the right way (leading edge is is the raised edge)
If i try and make any other adjustments with the right stick it stops completely. I'm wondering if this the behavior of a bad battery or is it something internal with the copter itself... or something I'm missing? Any comments would be great thanks

Did you charge the battery fully?..and if so, did you confirm the voltage once charged?..Typically if it isnt enough voltage the quad goes into a low voltage mode which usually stops all operation...if thats not working then it is possible the voltage is too low to lift the quad and somehow allowing what voltage you do have to turn the props.

Did you calibrate the quad?...this is not the same as binding so you know.

Quads come 2 ways with the proper order of prop install...the left front is either clock wise or counter clockwise rotation depending on what model you get...Whatever is the proper prop for the left front is going to be the proper prop for the right rear...the rest is simple to figure out.

Thank Mike... I checked the voltage of the battery and it's only putting out 4.1 volts when fully charged (should be 7.4) so I think that's my problem... (right?)
And thanks for the calibration comment, I did that as well. Now I need to source another battery for this puppy and try again.

I would have to say yes on that...im surprised the board is even allowing any voltage that low to begin with..Id be very careful with that.

It may be possible the charger it may have come with is not charging properly at all.

I recommend investing in a proper charger for your safety..if you ever notice the battery pack swelling larger than its regular size you need to not ever use it again and dispose of it properly.
