Motor won't spin after crash (Holy Stone HS200W)

I'm not sure I've seen them anywhere except as part of a kit with other parts. Check on Amazon, perhaps? You can buy a lot of Syma parts there, ditto Ebay.

    Cool looking little quad, Moz.

Motor won't spin after crash (Holy Stone HS200W)

It should be a good quad to learn on and have fun with. Don't expect much from the WiFi FPV. At best it will be laggy and have poor range. At worst, it can interfere with control signal. If weird things start happening as you get a bit farther out, suspect that first. As previously mentioned...

Got a drone for Christmas. Flew away two days later!

Yeah, I watch their videos, too. They reviewed the Bugs 3 after I bought mine and had flown it for a while. Their review was right in line with my experience. I did mod mine to fly on 3S batteries (you just have to put some standoffs on the battery compartment) and swapped the props for some...

    I have a dhd d5 drone..I need some help..

It looks like the connector is a Micro Losi. https://www.amazon.com/ENGPOW-Battery-Charger-Foldable-Quadcopter/dp/B072QDNRST/ref=sr_1_20?ie=UTF8&qid=1515863511&sr=8-20&keywords=3.7v+500mah+lipo

Pair of Motors turning wrong direction

It looks to me like Jackson screen captured from the manual for that quad. While Ken's diagram shows the way the vast majority of quads have their motors oriented, there ARE some that are oriented the way Jackson showed. That Hubsan may be one of them...the cowboy usually does his homework.

Got a drone for Christmas. Flew away two days later!

One nice thing about the Bugs 3 is that is has quite a bright LED "headlight". If you get it far enough away to lose orientation, you can yaw it until you see that light and bring it back toward you. It's a great quad, stable and quite fast in high rate. If you are patient and shop, you can get...

Xtreme Fly And Drive Is It Made By Syma ?

Some are quite decent, other not so much. The key to buying a quad (cheap or not) is read, read, read. Check reviews, look for parts availability, talk to people flying them. I hate when people become drone snobs and sneer at "toy" quads, because some of them are quite enjoyable to fly. Many...

Got a drone for Christmas. Flew away two days later!

Welcome to the forum! It sounds like you have the bug for sure. :D Fly-aways have probably happened to most if not all of us. Your observations about micro being more challenging for a new flyer are spot on. Keep practicing and you will do fine.

Xtreme Fly And Drive Is It Made By Syma ?

The ones on the right definitely look like the stock props on a Syma X5C. They're cheap on Amazon, so won't cost you much to try them out.

    Syma X5C gear issue

Not typical for Syma quads in my experience and that of the people that I know that fly them. However, they are inexpensive and mass-produced, so anything is possible. The typical experience is to have to replace one or more motors once in a while. Make sure if the quad runs into anything that...

    Learning to Fly

Adding: Start by turning 45 degrees to left or right from facing away from you. DO basic movements in that orientation: forward and backward, side to side. Once you are comfortable, turn 45 degree the other way. Go back and forth. Once this feels natural, yaw to 90 degrees and repeat. This is...

    Learning to Fly

Exactly this. Want to know the good news? Once you have mastered flying in all orientations in the confined space you're using, you are going to go outside and very quickly become one Hell of a drone pilot. I'm going to say better than most at flying line-of-sight, because all those precise...

    X5C remote

Well, that wasn't insulting or condescending at all. No one suggested the motor speeds don't change in response to inputs from throttle, pitch or yaw. Obviously, they do. Your question (correct me if I'm wrong) was whether the motor speeds change when you switch from low to high rate on the...

    Hello

Now you get to try to figure out how you will personally define a "decent drone". ;) Never scorn the "toys"...a lot of people have a lot of fun with them. That said, everyone here will help in your journey if they can.

    batteries

No, and honestly I don't get the endless search for a little bit longer flight times. You should get somewhere around 8-9 minutes on an X5C with a 750mah battery. I'm not sure how much a another minute or two would be worth to me, personally. Have fun flying it!

    X5C remote

The transmitter mode IS the layout of the controls. If you were a German RC fan, you would wonder who uses what SYma calls Mode 2, because it seems wrong to you. High and low rates do not change motor speed. They just control how much the quad will pitch and roll when you move the right stick...

    DarkMax issue help please

Moz, you are much better at this kind of thing than I am, but this sounds like his ESC's aren't handling the amperage being delivered by the battery, maybe?
