Does the syma X5C - take the same battery as the X5SC?
My idea for attaching larger batteries to a quad whose battery compartment is too small for the larger battery (same voltage and mAhs)"
I'm a novice Quad flyer, so this may be a stupid question but: If it's the (same voltage and mAhs) - why would I want to attach a larger battery? : (
yes , you can use 600mah 3.7v for thatDoes the syma X5C - take the same battery as the X5SC?

Do the 850's, fit into the battery box on the X5C?I've used batteries up to 85o mah in the X5's and was still gaining flight time. Some guys are saying they're using 1000 and 12000 mah, but I haven't tried these to say at what point the extra weight will stop giving you more flight time.
Remember that as you go larger on the battery capacity, you will at some point reach the point of diminishing returns, where the extra weight overcomes the extra capacity and you begin losing flight time instead of gaining more.
I've decided to try a 750mah, rather than the 1200mah. Walmart has a 5 pack with a charger, for $14.45. Can't beat that.
