My first build, with a few questions.

If you have a third battery then you should be able to hook it up there. Otherwise you could pull power from the battery in your transmitter.

My first build, with a few questions.

You should get a parallel battery cable, or just get a lead and solder it in with the pre existing cable comming off from the board. Here is what one looks like, make sure you don't get a series cable.

    2.4ghz radio and reciever

It does not look like I will need it, because will probably just upgrade my current quad's brain and use the KK I have there on my other project.

My first build, with a few questions.

Check YouTube, there are a lot of good videos there. Also could you update your post with all of the current parts you have selected? After you get everything tested you need to remember that cable management is important. I used heat-shrink and zipties, the wiring is pretty strait forward...

My first build, with a few questions.

Just one needs to provide power, the others are redundant. Sometimes a little redundancy id good. The Rx only needs one cable to provide power, then the others can just use the data. The ESCs need one to provide the 5v+, and because there are four ESCs you need to have the Data and the...

My first build, with a few questions.

What jumper are you referring to, are you talking about a step-down module? If you have two power sources comming into the FC you could burn it out. You may just remove the hot wire (red), but you may need to leave the black so you have a common neutral. Can you explain with a little more...

would this build be atleast decent for 200€?

You get to save a good bit of money for shipping and a load of time. You might ask them about the 10A ESCs and 15A motors being in the same kit. They may give you some 20A as a replacement.

My first build, with a few questions.

Yes, the ESC have caps, and they do spark a little. If it were a dead short your battery lead would burn in half faster than most fuses and there would be a lot of smoke. (Done this before). Take a liik at this post for APM vs mission planner.

My first build, with a few questions.

15.0kΩ is a little higher, are you sure your tester’s leads are making good contact? You may just inspect your board and if you don't find any problems then it should be fine. If you have a crossed solder joint when you plug that battery in you will certainly find out. If you do find a bad...

No idea where to go now...

A lot of people use a CC3D for little quads. You can build a frame out of aluminium, if you have a CNC mil all the better. What transmitter are you looking to get? I personally think that the is worth the price, though holtneil is more suited to answer that.

    Quadcopter Science Project

My parts have been arriving for the last two and a half months. This stuff takes forever to ship. I swear they are holding this stuff in boats for weeks just to make you want to buy priority shipping :p. I have ordered things from China with free shipping and gotten them within two weeks...

    2.4ghz radio and reciever

It does. These things don't really age, and they either work or don't work. I will see if I am going to need it in my next project. I will get back to you sometime tomorrow.

would this build be atleast decent for 200€?

Welcome to the forums. For a start you need at least 20A ESCs to run this. This is because your motors are 14amp and you need at least 5A of leeway. Unless you want to solder direct you will want to get some bullet connectors (at least 12 and they usually come in packs of 10) . To make...

My first build, with a few questions.

If they are not too heavy, you can wire them in parallel. Are they the same brand, C rate, voltage, and age? Also on anything that big you should defiantly get CF props. Mine flexed way too much to get in the air and then exploded on first takeoff. I think they were ABS so not very good quality.

    2.4ghz radio and reciever

What would you take for the KK fc? I am not really interested in the radio link, because I have a HKtr6a nad am looking for something modular. I think I like the Turnigy 9x or similar. I may just get it new.

New new! Excited to get started

No not at all. I have been looking to buy a good radio and many have suggested the DX7. As for the size most 250 quads will carry a gopro, if you want longer flight times go bigger. Mine is a 370, so you could always meet in the middle. 350 quads often get to arounf 40 mph/65kph.

My first build, with a few questions.

That appears to be a dead cat frame can you confirm? Also can you define, "electronics bundle", what all is in it? It looks like everything is ok, motors and props are well selected, 30A ESC will run about anything. Use this tool, it can be a great help, it may not have everything you...

No idea where to go now...

Most motors are on bigger quads are both CW and CCW, and you change them by the way they are connected to the ESCs. Many of the smaller motors for toy sized quads are either CW or CCW. First choose your Props, then motors. The frame should have a recommended prop size.
