    Help with Quad build

I was saying if your tx broke or battery dies suddenly, but it should be better than 10 feet (think of GPS hold), that is not too bad though for RTL If it thinks your in another field or something then you need to be careful.

    Help with Quad build

See if your controller has a problem and fails your fail-safe will kick in. If your fail safe is GPS, and that GPS has a bad signal you could loose your quad.

    Help with Quad build

If you don't have a good signal don't have it where it could fly away. I would disable the GPS if I did not absolutely need it. Are you getting terrible signal or just a little bad?

    Wierd science

Yeah, I like the idea you PMed me about. If anyone sees anything that should be checked not listed, or has an idea of how to test something with minimal tools please mention it. Basic idea is to get before and after info on a cryogenically frozen motors Here are variables I think would need...

First build specs! need a little help

I'd get KK2.1.5 if I wanted it to be easy to setup, but the KK is very limited. Take a look at this chart of most flight controllers, has prices and features listed. Notice that the Crius All In One PRO can do about anything with add-ons if you want to upgrade later, and it is REALLY cheap...

    Help with Quad build

Sounds good, GPS may be a little less accurate due to connecting to fewer satellites. Clouds and other things add interference and it cannot connect to satellites that are a little further away.

Help building my first quad/hex copter

Not yet, which one did you get, you can't always upgrade the transmitters. By a week I mean before they ship it to you. Not before it gets to you, that takes the regular time.

First build, am I doing it right?

I meant without having proper resistance and whatnot. I could explain, but this picture will do better anyways. I bought a 10 set pack from amazon that got here in two days. Just really whatever you prefer.

Kinda new with a couple questions.

Actually if you can give some closeup pics that would be great. You want to make sure it is all power. I suspect one is power one is data and then a common neutral that they share. JSTs are common, so they may not be a balance plug.

Ok, 3 what colours are the wires? And are they marked in the silkscreen. Anything like V+, 5v+, VCC, Vin, +-~

    Kk2.1 control board keaps restarting

Or you could just try the battery in another quad. I had a similar problem (Not with RC or LiPos) where the battery tested great with no load and dropped to almost 0 when you tried to draw any current.

Check the pins then, you should be able to just move the whole thing over, make sure it gets the proper voltage 3/10ths of a volt high can damage most camera equipment. How many pins connect to the quad?

Kinda new with a couple questions.

Ok, so you already have a camera and a monitor. Are your camera and monitor already setup to use RCA (white, Yellow and red cables). Depicted here If so this means you just need a 5.8ghz(what most people use) video transmitter and video receiver. Here is a set that has the transmitter...

Help building my first quad/hex copter

Backorders don't take long usually. Mine are usually within a week.

Help building my first quad/hex copter

Ok, yeah the lift(AKA thrust) is how much weight each motor can lift.

If you wanted to use smaller props you'd have less lift. You could compensate by using a 5 or 6 S battery and ESC combo, because your motor will handle that. If you want smaller props like 8-9 you could go with a 1000kv motor setup.
