    Coding my flight stabilizer function

I wish you luck. :) I'd like to see a Raspberry Pi and Arduino for some really advanced stuff. Or you could just go with a Beagle bone and only have one board. How hard is it to establish a com port between an Arduino and a Pi?

SOLVED: Quadcopter Does Not Respond to Elevator When Self-Level is On

Check your Plimit under self level settings, it is probably too low. try setting it higher. Plimit limits how far the quad can pitch in any direction. Lower = slower Higher = Agile.

Kinda new with a couple questions.

The camera system is separate from the FC. They work independently. This system does not record though.

new to quadcopter(ing) . dont know what to buy

Really depends. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It is dependant on what you want to do. Building it can allow you to get just what you want, and none of the features you don't need. A bunch of things to consider, but you can sometimes make quadcopter almost exactly like a RTF and it come out...

There is a Phantom knock off called the Cheerson CX-2, @UltiFix bought one and seemed to really like it. The DJI Phantom 1 is also right in your price range.

Kinda new with a couple questions.

If you got this combo, then you should be able to. It has a 32 channel transmitter, this covers the 5.8ghz spectrum. This will do PAL and NTFS, unless there is some weird method of encoding that it uses you should be able to. This has everything that goes on the quad, all you have to do is...

    Help with Quad build

Slow charging is better for the battery. Extends the overall life. You also should discharge to 3.7 per series (S) so a 3S battery would be 11.1v storage voltage. Then you charge the rest of thee way before you fly.

    Coding my flight stabilizer function

Also be careful if you spin your motors up with no props (especially with custom code) you can burn them out.

Kinda new with a couple questions.

Haha I assume you took these with a phone :) they are upside down. That is fine though I can flip. Ok, it looks like you are correct and all you have to do in power it up and it is ready. If you can, measure the voltage coming off from where this plugged in, unless it just plugged into the...

    Help with Quad build

Looks like low battery cutout. You can disable this on most ESCs. But when it is supposed to happen if it does not your lipo will be ruined. So this is why you low-vo alarms/

First build, am I doing it right?

There pieces that come with the props are bushings, if your prop fits pretty snug on the motor's shaft then you don't need them. They are to allow it to fit smaller motor shafts. Hold the motor while you tighten it, and then try to turn the prop while holding the motor. You should not be...
