    GPS tracking for your quadcopter

It should not interfere with your gps puck. This has been brought up a few times :) http://quadcopterforum.com/threads/remote-locator-for-quad.6369/#post-20312

Hello, and thanks for having me.

Seems like mine lasts around 5 minutes at most with a 2200. I like flying this one more though since its much lighter. 8-10 minutes is very impressive with 220mah :D

Hello, and thanks for having me.

8-10 minutes on a 250? What size battery are you running? I get about 3-4 minutes on my 250.

Default settings BGC 2 Axis brushless gimbal

It may need a little tweaking, but hopefully it will get you moving in the right direction.

Hello, and thanks for having me.

Welcome:D The naza will calm your quad down significantly. Maybe too much lol. I did Install a naza on my 250 for fun once, and it was very stable and smooth, but a little boring since they will not stay in the air long enough for quality arial photography.

Default settings BGC 2 Axis brushless gimbal

Here you go. I had to rename .profile to .txt to get it to upload so change it back to default_2Axis.profile

You could try to contact the seller to provide the profile they use, but I would not count on it. I think I have a backup from one from a long time ago from one like this. I don't have time to get it right now, but I will this evening.

    Overlapping Props

Slow motion to show what it is doing. I played with gains a little, but lowering and raising did not seem to affect what is going on here. It would be so stable if it was not for these vibrations :( I will try a larger battery later in hopes it is a weight issue. Any recommendation?

    Overlapping Props

Got it in the air. I am not sure if this frame is going to work out though. It was vibrating a lot, and I am not sure how to correct that without larger arms or a stronger frame. It was up and down vibrations not side to side. Super quiet though. http://rl.dyndns.info/MySite/quad17.m4v

My H3-3D has connectivity for this, but I have never tried it since I have a dedicated camera for fpv, and no one would go with me to assist in filming.

Another "can you help me decide" thread

I use the Taranis, and I love it. I was in your boat when I decided that the Flysky was not going to work for me. I read that you can do more with the Taranis than radios that cost 3 times as much so it was a no brainer for me. Some guys think it is difficult, but it is not too bad, and there...

    Talk to me Goose!

Not sure what type of flying you are hoping for, but here is a setup that I was highly impressed with. On sale right now :) http://store.dji.com/product/e600-4 These are awesome for the price(What is on my hex above when I shot that video)...

First quad build ... have I specced it right?

The motors you have listed will never draw more than 20 amps on a 4s so it is a waste of weight to use 30 amp. Less weight is the key to keep these nimble and in the air longer. You will also need smaller props if you are going with a 4s setup. max is 5040 for 4s, see the chart below. And buy a...

    Talk to me Goose!

I would recommend taking a look at the dji e600 tuned propulsion system or the e800. These motors are super high quality for the price. I am flying the e600 on a tarot 680, and I loved them so much I purchased the e1200 for a quad I am currently in the middle of building right now. Here is a...

First quad build ... have I specced it right?

10-20A escs for these motors. This will be a fast quad! This isn't your first quad is it?

Where to buy the right ESC?

life is lower voltage than lipo so you will get less punch, and things will be sluggish. I think your choice of motors is a good choice for the type of setup your are putting together.
