Unless you have a heli with a counter rotating main rotor like I do, how do your control the anti-torq rotor when most transmitters only have controls for pitch and yaw and forward/backward motion? a real helicopter has the throttle on the collective and the cyclic and the anti-torq pedals.
Onward, onward, drones against the foe , upwards, onward our four rotors gonna go! Jam the turbos with our Kamikaze Death Drones. Wizzzz, zoom, boooom, crunch!
In my opinion, it is a remote controlled Helicopter, not a drone and certainly not a quadcopter. What's it cost anyways? Not too many quads with turbo shaft engines.
China is a Communist Country and have restrictions even on travel and how many children you can have. In the USA and perhaps a lot of EU countries, those restrictions don't exist. Flying drones in China is restrictive. In the USA the FAA has their Part 107 rules, but you won't necessarily...
I prefer the PC (Windows) Computer. A MAC is good graphic wise. You'll need a good graphics card like the GeForce 8700 and lots of RAM (8+ GB) and a high speed processor like the Intel Quad Core i5 or i7. That's just my thoughts though.
I hope he takes it to heart and looks up Part 107 and understands Air Space Classifications before he get's tagged by some FAA Guru with a propensity for enforcing the law.
Hey Wafflejock, you teach a class in this? This is a whole lot of tech info for a new guy to fathom and understand. I've been doing this for a few Star Dates and am as confused as a novice would be. Can you simplify it into layman's terms?
Will the Control Tower at an airport give your the Classification for that airport? Being not an actual pilot, I have no idea about airport classifications.
Have you ever flown a drone before? You should start with something simple and cheap. Check out the drones at Hubsan.com. They have a variety to choose from. Get something like a Hubsan X4 as an idea. I have one and it's good for learning to fly with and doesn't cost too much to fix if you...
