Teach your quadcopter how to bomb like a pigeon, then launch it over the parking lot of the FAA. Windshields are the best target. Just poop on those SOBs!

OK, make light of it. If it doesn't happen great. If it does happen... well...

FAA says can't arm your DRONE! Go figure.

Yes, that can be true, but in this day and age, the Police and FBI are looking at ALL possibilities, whether by word of mouth, internet social media and/or forums like this one. This is moderately open to public scrutiny, just look at all the commercials that get on this, someone IS looking at it!

Why would you want to arm drones, unless you're a terrorist or Jihadist? Take care in answering that question!

    Manual - skyhawk

Look at your quad. See if you can find the model number. Google the model number. You might get lucky on a user manual for that model.

    Syma quadcopter X5UW replacement batteries

Caveat Emptor? You get what you pay for. Buying a cheaper knock off battery could result in consequences that are not desirable. Like buying parts for your car, OEM is always better than generic.

Flight Controller + Receiver (FIRST TIME BUILD)

Passion has nothing to do with it, concentration and patience more so, though. I am a computer programmer and web designer. Those take concentration and patience. Then there is the physical acuity that I lack. I can't handle a soldering iron very well due to strictures I have in my hands. Typing...

Flight Controller + Receiver (FIRST TIME BUILD)

Amazingly, I have no idea what you gentlemen are talking about. I did not go to M.I.T. and the only engineering I am aware of, slightly, is on a railroad locomotive., I am happy that this forum exists, however, I am unhappy that everyone seems to speak in engineerese and not a more common form...

Up in the sky! its a bird its a plane! No its a quad.................errrr Plus 1

My wife told me that it was reported on the local news in Detroit, MI. that the guy actually made it across the Channel with one refueling. He landed on a boat then refueled and continued the flight. "Landed on a boat?". I guess mid-air refueling was not an option.

Did he make it? Can't tell from the video. If he did, was it a soft landing or a drop in the channe?

One day it will get so hot on this planet that everyone will need EVA suits to more around, By then I'm sure that science will find a way to tyrn sand into food because everything else will be dead. We are slowly turning into the planet Venus!

    Tentoes' new habitat

So, why so close to an airport? Is your drone that big that it needs clearance from the tower to taxi and takeoff? Since you live in Oklahoma, I would think that you could find a better place as a habitat for launching your drones.

    Cruise VS ?????????

In the Lee Child books of Jack Reacher, Jack is 6'5" and 250 lbs. I was always astounded that Cruise played Reacher in the runoff movies. Cruise is nowhere near 6'5" tall. Sylvester Stallone would have made a better Jack Reacher.
