  • I got a fixed wing in 2015. Have not flown it since. Now I am selling it. I prefer to fly quadcopters. Fixed wings need to be moving all the time to fly. Quads can do what Helicopters do, mostly because they ARE helicopters. I'm still leary about knitting and all, those needles can be dangerous.
I recently bought a u818a and was initially able to get the copter into the headless mode. The next time I tried, no dice. The headlamp does not turn off in dictating the copter is in headless mode. Any suggestions?
Being retired and bored stiff, I wanted a hobby that would be challenging yet fun. So, I bought a Quadcopter a UDIR/C U818A HD.

On a whim, I got a fixed-wing aircraft, thinking flying in one direction would be easier than steering my quadcopter. DON'T EVER THINK THAT! At least with the quad you can do an almost 90 degree turn (you know, like flying saucers do). A fixed wing just acts like a missile and hits things hard, like the side of a neighbor's car. Not a good feeling there...

After you get used to them they are easier to fly. They also handle failures better. You can loose an ESC, motor, or prop and still land it pretty easy.
