    Yes, they had 11 recording surfaces and were about 12 inches in diameter and held less information than a 8 gig thumb drive of today! They set in a reader box about the size of a Dishwasher! They were noisy too.

    It was a one man elevator about 2' x 2' square that went up the center of the tower. After that it was a 300 foot climb on the outside of the tower. Vertigo is my middle name and I would not climb it!
