    Husban X4 502e control issues

Have you tried the gyro calibration process for the 107D? I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same. Turn on the Tx and quad and bind. Then hold the left (throttle) stick down right, and move the right stick full left and full right, back and forth until you get a couple of flashes from the front...

JJRC H8D or MJX Bugs 2

If you mean the H8D, they are not the same as the ones in the Syma X8 series. I'd have to pull a spare or two out of storage boxes, but if memory serves they are 8.5mm motors in the H8D. The H25G motors may be the same as the ones in the X8's, but I can't tell you for sure. Those don't look like...

How I got started Flying Quads. (The Continuing Adventures...)

At some point you need to stop reading and start flying! The Tx that came with it should be fine. You can buy a Taranis later and use it with another quad (and yes, there will be another).

    Syma X5C-1 Modifications

No, unfortunately the X8C Tx doesn't support actual mode 1. What that transmitter calls Mode 1 isn't. Both the stick options have the throttle on the left stick.

    Thanks for having me.

Welcome to the forum! That Hubsan looks like a great little quad to learn on.

    Husban X4 502e control issues

Have you eliminated the basics? Before you do anything, re-calibrate the gyros. Then adjust trims once it's in the air. I don't know what the transmitter command is to calibrate the gyros on your quad, but a Google search should get you the info. "calibrate gyros Hubsan Desire".

Bugs 2 & Battery charge questions

I know a guy who did that with a Bugs 3: 600mw vtx, Runcam Owl, DALRC OSD with GPS. Its amazing. And once he was done with all the experimentation, not too expensive for the finished product. Along the way he spent a small fortune trying everything out though. I think he went through like 5...

Bugs 2 & Battery charge questions

The reviews on the B2 models seem to be universally positive. The camera on the B2C seems to leave a bit to be desired, though. MJX is really building some great quality quads for the price points. It's going to be really interesting to see what they come up with in the future.

Bugs 2 & Battery charge questions

Wow...I saw a side-by-side speed test with both Bugs 2 models and the Bugs 3. The Bugs 2's were pretty much same performance, but the Bugs 3 was a ton faster. What's weird is that the B2C's motor looks like it's in a plastic case.

Bugs 2 & Battery charge questions

I would be very surprised if they are the same motors. The Bugs 3 is larger, heavier, and a lot faster.

Are you looking for a connector to plug an XT60 connector battery into a balance charger? If so, then yes.

Did you hunt down the MJX folks on Ebay?

JJRC H8D or MJX Bugs 2

Also, the Bugs 3 does a great job being two different quads. One of them flies on low rate with an action cam and is remarkably stable. The other flies without an action cam in high rate and is an excellent fast sport flyer. Ok, maybe three different quads. Throw a 3S battery in it and some...

Mike has the SC, which uses the proprietary type battery.

First Flight With Syma X8SC - Success!

Glad it went well! Your battery life will improve a bit after a few cycles of the battery, too. Seems like maybe 4 or 5 cycles to reach its normal charge lifespan.

Also, make up your mind as soon as practiceable that you will be learning to solder. It's not that hard.

What he said. As usual, don't ask me how I know. It's easier than you think, just watch for the shell to become available at a semi-reasonable price.
