Anyone Failing To Register Their Quadcopter With The FAA.....

No...if the flying weight is < .55 lbs, you aren't required to register.

Anyone Failing To Register Their Quadcopter With The FAA.....

One registration for all aircraft is still the requirement. Any aircraft subject to registration is supposed to have your FAA number on it.

    New To Drones

Welcome! I second the suggestion to buy and practice with a cheap, manual quad. I'm not too familiar with the Halo drones, but they look like they're getting good reviews. Nice to see another viable competitor to DJI.

    Batteries and their storage

The DJI Go 4 app shows you the voltage level in each cell. It's in the menu under the icon that looks like an arrow/cursor superimposed over a battery icon. In there you can also set the time to begin discharge. That controls how soon your batteries will begin a slow discharge to a storage...

    Question regarding battery

I fly a Bugs 3 on 3S, and you can't trust the beeper. It will start beeping about the time the quad hits the ground. Use a timer and learn the flight time on your 3S batteries. You will probably also find you don't like the way it flies on 3S with the stock props. I'm using Dal 6045 tri-props...

Need to upgrade my PC... on the cheap

I'd consider the extra $30 for 8 more GB of RAM. Dollar for dollar, additional RAM gets you more performance increase than just about anything else in my experience.

    New guy

Welcome! Hopefully no one is going to bash toy quads. A lot of us still fly and enjoy them at least sometimes. Best advice is practice, research online, and practice. Reading reviews, asking questions, etc. will save you a ton of money in the long run. There are a lot of helpful and...

Hubsan and General Battery Connector Questions

No, because the connector will be the same "gender" as the one on the battery.

Postman came H33 in the house

You would need a receiver. Most likely you will end up flying with goggles (which have a receiver included) if you like FPV. Some people stick with FPV on a monitor, but very few. You can buy something like a set of Eachine VR006 or VR007 goggles to test the water if you aren't sure and don't...

    Recommendations for my next Quadcopter?

I'd consider Banggood or Gearbest to save some money. They're both reliable, if slow. Pay with PayPal and you have a money-back protection in any case. I buy a ton of stuff from Banggood, only had one issue (shipped to a bungled address and was returned to the shipper) and was promptly refunded...

Thank you for getting me going.

Looks like you're off to a great start! One minor suggestion: I would map the beeper to a different switch than your failsafe. If (when?) you take that long walk of shame, it might be toward the end of your battery life on the quad. With beeper on a separate switch, you can toggle it on...

    Recommendations for my next Quadcopter?

That would be my recommendation as well. If you can plunk down the extra money for the "professional" version, consider it. You will get more reliable performance at longer ranges. Also, they sell a $15-20 range extender kit which should improve signal quality, even if you don't need more range.

If you want to FPV that little guy, consider just a stand-alone all-in-one camera like an FX797T or an Eachine TX01 or VF-02. They're cheap, you can make a splitter to run it from the quad's battery (I think the 797T actually comes with a splitter) or you can velcro on a little battery to power it.
