    Cheap camera

I can view it now.... Footage looks good. I have an SJCam SJ5000x that shoots extremely good video and also has image stabilization which is very helpful for a non-GPS quad.

Bad motor? Can you identify the problem? (Photo)

I've no experience with the set screw types, but given my experience with c clips, ANYTHING would have to be better. They work great, until they don't...then they come off. ETA: I'm assuming you would want a tiny drip on blue Loc-Tite on the set screw.

For Sale:Dji Phantom 4 Quadcopter Drone

I almost always opt for "factory refurnished" over new with any brand I trust, if they give me the option.

Parrot Drone Announcement | New Drones Coming June 6, 2018?

SD over any amount of internal memory! Your review of the Bebop 2 was what first got me interested in that quad. They still intrigue me, but I have others that do everything they will do, so I've never been able to justify spending the money to buy one.

For Sale:Dji Phantom 4 Quadcopter Drone

My Phantom 4 was a refurb that I bought from DJI in a very brief window where they offered it for $729 about 14 months ago. It looked and behaved like new, and I"m still flying it with nary an issue. I would trust the refurbs from DJI (versus a 3rd party) to be as good as a "new" quad.

Parrot Drone Announcement | New Drones Coming June 6, 2018?

I am looking forward to seeing what Parrot is bringing to the market. So far they seem to have good technology and quality control...they just need to figure out how to get it to consumers at a more affordable cost. The Bebop 2 series should have been more of a market mover, but its price held...

DroneShield is keeping hostile UAVs away from NASCAR events - TechCrunch

Most of us won't have to sweat this. They will tell us where they don't want us flying, and we'll fly somewhere else. I'm thinking anywhere they would think to (and spend the money to) deploy this kind of technology is somewhere the responsible majority wouldn't be flying in any case. It's...

It's good to have an expert or two in the mix.

    Camera for Syma X5C

There's not much except an 808 camera that you can put on that quad because it won't carry much weight at all.

    Little Quad Lost

The times I have used a switched beeper to find a quad, I probably would have found it eventually without the beeper. It's the "probably" that makes me uneasy. :D

maximum weight the x8c can carry?

Absolutely. Search YouTube for info and reviews.

    Go find Your Drone

There are so many assumptions built into this question that it defies answering. "Logs" assumes a great number of things, the first of which is that when he decided to start flying quadcopters, it was with something that had the technology to "log" what was happening.

    Little Quad Lost

My next FPV racer doesn't have a beeper. This is not a good thing. I'm trying to decide if I want to buy and install a beeper or just stick a Trackimo (or equivalent) on it, and just how accurate that thing will be compared to walking a field and listening for the beeping noise.

When do I get a new battery?

    Here's a 4-port version with XT60 connectors: https://alofthobbies.com/four-battery-fused-parallel-charge-board.html

When do I get a new battery?

Possibly, but you don't want to do it that way. Use a parallel charging board. Gyro Doc was right: you want one that uses fuses for each station. Google "parallel charging board" for examples. Also, this will make more sense once you see the B6 charger in person and see the balance charging...

When do I get a new battery?

Here is an example for charging one battery at a time: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3-5mm-Bullet-male-to-4mm-Banana-Plug-charging-leads-fr-syma-x8c-w-g-7-4V-battery/272774605642?hash=item3f82a22b4a If you go with a parallel charging board, you will need adapters from whatever the connection is on...

When do I get a new battery?

You aren't asking too many questions - this is the right place for that sort of thing and most people here will be happy to help out. The current draw on that quad should be fine for a 20C battery. As a general rule, higher C ratings are preferable, but I'd be very surprised if 20C wouldn't...

When do I get a new battery?

The B6 Mini is also a good option, but you have to add an AC power supply - unlike the B6AC, it doesn't come with one.
