    Beaten by a BNF whoop!

The model reset did the trick. No idea what caused it, but I reset the model in the tx and rebound and all was fine. Thanks, Jackson. I always miss the obvious simple steps. I'm a terrible troubleshooter o_O

    Rookie Mistakes

The B6 mini only comes with a 12v connector, but you can buy a 120v power supply cheap anywhere. It's a very standard item.

Yes, it's configured to IBUS by default. I didn't try SBUS, but can't imagine that 2A rx would use anything other than IBUS. ?

Yep, downloaded the most recent version. I haven't had time to do a model reset in the tx yet - I work and teach Mon-Wed. Hopefully Thursday evening.

    Connecters

You may be confusing the connector on the X5 with two other connectors: MCP & MCPx which are 1.25mm and 2mm size. The X5C uses a "micro Losi" connector - not sure about the measurement, but commonly available. In the 1S battery world you will also sometimes see it referred to as a Molex connector.

Global x183 is not taking off

I always use PayPal for purchases from overseas suppliers. That way I can dispute the charges with PayPal if I have an issue.

I did try switching to the old AFHDS protocol and back. I'll try the model reset. :)

    Hi I'm Jay

Welcome to the forum, Jay! You sound a bit like me: I fly a ton of different quads from photography birds to brushless racers and have a blast with them all.

Which Drone is best for aerial filming, which one should I buy?

The Syma X8 Pro has had a ton of problems. I'd avoid that one....

Yes, channels 5-8 are set up in the Tx as SwA-D, respectively. I fly other quads on the same transmitter.

    Beaten by a BNF whoop!

I picked up an LDARC Tiny 7x figuring it would be a fun flyer for inside the house. Expecting a 15 minute setup time, I created a model on a Flysky FS-i6x and bound it. Connected to Betaflight (they had the latest version flashed, go figure). Went to set up arm and mode switches, and um..it's...

    Funny how the wind speed...

I discovered a law long ago...as far as I know this is an original: "The likelihood of an event occurring is inversely proportional to your preparedness for it".

    Funny how the wind speed...

I think he meant that as soon as he charges batteries, the wind kicks up. :)

Connect FS-IA6B to Racerstar StarF3S with SBus or IBus

I don't, but have been shopping vtx's and someone (I think it was Oscar Liang) mentioned it in a review. Worth a Google....

Connect FS-IA6B to Racerstar StarF3S with SBus or IBus

You may have cured everyone's tendency to do that with the "banjo" comment. ;)

    Just amazing

I've seen that happen, too. It's hard to make a personal connection with customers to become more than a resource to them and earn their continued business. I don't pretend to have the answer to that one, and I sympathize with anyone who tries to solve it. Best Buy is the case study for this...

Connect FS-IA6B to Racerstar StarF3S with SBus or IBus

The EU versions of most vtx's are meant to be easy to unlock.

    Just amazing

Sounds like the fast track to going out of business. A local store can't compete on price or selection, so they have to compete on customer service, knowledge, and guidance.
