Has any here had a problem buying thrrough GearBest?

I ordered a CX 20 threw them & payed with PayPal. They sent me a thank you
for my business & sais it would be a couple days to process. They also said
I would be contacted when it was shipped. Well nothing in two weeks, so
I contacted them. I was told my Paypal needed to be verified & to do that
they wanted a picture of my drivers license, & credit card sent to them first.

This payment has already gone threw my bank & payed. I called Paypal
& now its being upgraded to a claim.???????????????

I have been ordering stuff from the net for years
& never head or had this happen. Fly

Well they said I should know in ten days. Listen up, I have been ordering off the net for years & never had these
problems. I bought my first quod about two months back & love this hobby.

I wanted to move up & the CX-20 seem to fit the bill for me. When I saw it on GearBest I thought great, they
said free shipping. So I ordered it. But they charged another $35 for S&H. Well I blew that off & could not
wait . Then after two weeks of waiting I checked & this all started. Now I,m sitting here wondering if
I will even get my money back.

I can't afford to buy another till I see what is going to happen. I just don't want anyone of you to go
threw this crap for we work to hard for our money & it is not right for company's to be allowed to
operate as this.

I wish I had seen this sooner! I'm having the same problem, this is BS, but the more that know the better cuz numbers can make a difference!!

Guy's i need help.
I ordered 3 different Quads from GB 8 days ago and after 3 days i never received the 'your order is shipped' email. So i made a ticket and they said your Quad was out of stock (which Quad - there was 3 different), DARN why didn't they tell me! Already i have TWO annoyances, i wasn't told, i still don't know which Quad and to make things worse, there was a pasted type letter telling me my 3 choices but it was titled to a different person! Jesus, talk about unprofessional, this goes to new heights!

Sadly it gets even worse, i asked them which Quads they have in stock so i could change my order and they never replied. I asked another 5 times over 5 days, still no reply. I tried making a new ticket,,, still no reply. These Quads were Xmas presents and now i am screwed.

Guy's what do i do? I can't ask PayPal to do anything as you have to wait until 2 weeks after order or something? I am thinking,,, the best thing to do to save myself the hassle, worry and trouble is to just wait 2 weeks and get my money back from PayPal.

Any suggestions please.

So far I have had no problems with Gear Best or their customer service. Recentely placed an order for a transmitter ordered Nov 22 received Dec 3 and best of all after after 2 previous transmitter tries from a different US based company the one I got from Gear Best was an actual fully fuctioning unit.

??? I just linked to a bank savings account I keep a few bucks in. I think they just then billed a $1 and when it went thru they credited back the $1.

having not had any replies for 5 days now and myself sending 5 emails via ticket,,,
2 hours after posting here i get a reply! So somebody from there is within us:)

However,,, all it said was the three vehicles i ordered are out of stock (why were they still selling 3 different Quads out of stock!?). So they STILL have not replied to my request after telling on the 5 of Dec,,, which is pasted below..

Sooo after 6 days i still have not had a reply to my request.

I think they don't speak English, their customer care is so small and so unprofessional, they probably use google translator.

Banggood is also a Chinese based on-line distributor but they have a very large, a very professional and linguist customer care staff. I know whom i shall deal with exclusively from now on!

I give up on this GearBest or should i call them GearWorst, that's more fitting!

I woke up to an email from Ebay, there was a request from GearBest for $40.
I have had no email from GearBest as to what the $40 is for. I can only guess they are wanting the difference for the Quads, but who knows?

Note, when i think there was professionalism and worry before i even ordered, i wish i had listened to my 'are you sure this is a god idea purchase'.-

I originally paid $50 for 3 Quads with free shipping. But when paying in PayPal they added $25 for shipping. I was annoyed at this but what can you do half way through a PayPal purchase,,, risk paying twice, risk paying and deleting a purchase? Despite my inner warning i reluctantly paid the extra $25 bucks.

Now, nearly two weeks later they do this.

Now i have the hassle of trying to communicate with them about my 8th unprofessional occurance on just one order!
 
FWIW, I learned the hard way if its posted to be processed/shipped within 6-9 days that means its out of stock.. items posted next day are in stock.. items posted 3 days are low on stock.....
 
Thanks B3, that's good to know, but personally, trying to save a couple of bucks compared to Banggod is false economy, especially after they side swipe you half way through checking out with PayPal with added postage!

I have NEVER experienced service like this and am considering swapping my efforts to trading standards or spending my energy on publicity on their scandalousness.
 
I just purchased a few things of GearBest, awaiting delivery. I am concerned because I've been reading about their poor customer service when I googled "GearBest Shipping Times".
 
UNBELIEVABLE, i was thinking they asked me for $40 because the 3 quads i had to swap to were more expensive, buttttt, it turns out we have an even bigger scandal -

I confess that due to it being late ( for me) here in Aussie - i have just glanced at your post and the replies. This and other forums are full of threads like yours... I started a few myself.
Confirming the PP - is a ploy to get them a few days wait time. I think every new customer gets that - I know I did. Maybe they really do have to verify your PP is yours and not one you hacked into. I also had the photo ID etc.
I dont know if its really needed - but you either comply or get ignored.

After you order - you will wait anything from a few days to weeks.
I have stated often that they seldom have "stock" and its also my opinion that the processing time is due to amalgamating incoming orders to meet a buying quantity stipulated by their various suppliers - or more likely - waiting for those suppliers to sort out their returns and job lot them out to the likes of GB - if you get pigged off with them.. do not try EverBuying or Tiny Deals - they are all in the same office! I ordered a Syma - it arrived it was junk. weeks later I got a refund and ordered a Devo 10 - its got off to a bad start but seems to be OK now.
IF you want any refunds - don't start arguing with them - go to to PayPal and start a dispute. They never give back to source refunds.. you get a store credit - forcing you to buy again.
PayPal will expect you to return the defective items and it can be costly - which forces you to decide to think... it cannot all be rubbish they send out - and order something else.
The only stuff I ever got that was 100% were batteries and spare props.

I have to say that I have been using BangGood and - so far - cannot fault them. They cancelled one order I made because they had no stock - money back to PP without me asking!
Today I got a delivery from them - on 6th December I paid us$4.40 for 7 - 9 days shipping and never believed it. Previously I ordered a receiver for the Devo - I got it in 4 days.. shipped from Melbourne!!
They do get complaints and they have been known to send out some rubbish - but they seem to resolve the issues without fuss. I realise I may be in their treat him nice phase - and s**t may happen.

I hope the stuff you ordered is OK- but if not and you decide not to return stuff or PP deal with it- practice skate boarding - because you are on a downhill path to losing out in some way.

Here is the routine - you say its rubbish... they say....

This was what they offered me when I reported the Devo 10 had a USB connection problem ( I did take the refund :) -)
BUT note they want another $93 for a replacement!
If you go back and say the refund is not enough - three days later if you get lucky - they will add a few more $$ if you go back for more.. the delays get longer - the idea is you get pigged off take a bit and go away.
