Transmitter setup problems (random movement), please help!

My first build is a 250 with a CC3D flight controller and a FS-t6 transmitter/corresponding receiver. I have been able to successfully calibrate the quad using the libre pilot software. However once i get to the transmitter setup wizard i cant successfully setup the transmitter. The software sees random movement from both the control sticks, the virtual representation of the controller in the software shows the sticks of the controller are constantly moving all over the place even when i am not moving them at all. i hooked servos up to the receiver to test the transmitter and was able to control them fine so i don't think my problem lies within the transmitter or receiver. I also made sure the receiver is correctly wired to the CC3D. I am completely lost, any information helps.

In the input calibration tab of Librepilot, click on manual calibration and move all sticks on your transmitter to their maximum in all directions. No special order, just move them all in all directions. the sliders should even out to the centre positions and your sticks are now calibrated.
