here is a list of what ive picked out for a build after a few revisions, I just want to make sure everything is compatible here, I have a Fatshark headset and a DX6E controller already

total comes out just below $200 am I missing anything? everything decent quality by the looks of it?

Make sure to get four motors, and I'd check to see if that FC can support PWM in, if not you should be able to get a Rx with a PPM in that supports that protocol.

I'd try out some DAL props if possible. I did not go to the links and check any type of specs however from a glance it looks pretty good. Also have you taken a look into the newer KISS FCs?

I'm new to this so I'm sorry if I get anything wrong, but the FC (flight controller I'm assuming) says "* 2 x 8 pin JST-SH Socket (PPM, PWM, SERIAL RX, GPIO, ADC, 3V, 5V, GND)'' under the description.

and like I said I'm pretty new, what is the advantage of one FC over the other? the naze was just what was recommended from a video I watched =/

naze is a great place to start as they have been around for a bit, and there is a lot of info on them. If that is what it says in the description then you should be fine, some of those don't come with PWM inputs. Though if you can do PPM it is usually preferred. I started out on PWM and I moved to SBUS. PWM certainly is a lot simpler to work with and mod, but SBUS and PPM use fewer wires. No real rush to use anything but PWM for now.

to clarify I'm assuming with a ppm receiver it only has 1 plug instead of a separate place for rudder/elevator/throttle etc... easier to set up one vs the other?
