PID Loop Time???

Title says just about says it all. I have litterally no idea what to do with these loop times.....

Do they change for different ESCs?
Do they change for flight board?
Do they change for motors?

Jesus please help x-x

(Using cleanflight+Naze32 if that matters)

I've given up trying to understand what affect different settings have. Most of it's just waaaay over my head. I've found it's much easier to just watch videos and make note of other peoples setups. Some work, some don't. As for looptime, mine is set at 3500 and my 250 flies nice and smooth so I'm not changing it. I've changed it to 2500 and quite honestly, I didn't see any difference.
