Well I did not mean break the stick xD, just enough to make it drift forward a little bit. Ouch, I know the feeling of not spending an extra couple bucks for something that is a lot better. It is supposed to work with airplanes so it should work for quads fine. Can you adjust stick gains in...
Haha, that bad of a crash? You might consider aluminium, I have yet to have to replace parts, and I have had some pretty hard crashes, I usually can just bend things back into shape and replace a few bolts.
Know? Hahahahaha, you move up when the hunger is too much to bear. Many people start on big quads, what do you plan to use it for? Speed demon (Racing quad) or a camera platform.
If you would rather a speed demon I'd say to go ahead and move up, they handle crashes well and you will...
I second that; what ever seems to help you is the best option, these ways are by far the most used. Also if you loose orientation just push to go forward and try to regain it. Most people will say to learn with just stabilization and no auto-level (AKA Rate mode)
Yes, you want ot have two seperate cameras, the Runcam will record, and you can put it on a gimbal. The board camera can be just for FPV live out because it is 0 latency.
No, only things that matters are: amp supply and voltage. But it'll use Lipo and that is the lightest. You could build a hobby quad for ~$240, and upgrade it as you go.
haha, how much that stuff weigh? I can se the camera making a bigger difference, and the prop guards are just useless weight if your in the open and can fly well.
It very well could be. Does a resistor look burnt? Without an antenna you have no where to dump the current load, so it usually burns a resistor, usually the resistor will catch fire. Do you see anything like that?
Tell us what you want it it do and I am sure we may be able to help you come up with how to mod it, they can be modified in many ways, depends what you have and what you want it to do. The hobby grade are infinitely modable, and run about the same as a nice arisoft gun. As for swapping out...
Cleanflight is a kinda newer but based off cleanflight, I prefer "bleeding edge" so I'd go with Cleanflight, but Baseflight is also fine.
