The SD cards click in and out from a port on the case...The transmitter will have a picture and video button to turn it on and off. Hers a tip..if you record make sure to turn the camera off before unplugging the quad or you will lose your video. Heres another tip as well many dont know...

I would say fly that syma untill it gets boring or, it just becomes second nature to fly it with ease of control in most any situation. I shouldnt say boring as, flying is always fun but, you get the idea. The x5 is a wonderful starter quad but its hardly considered a sport flyer like most any...

Newb Very Concerned About Where Things Are Going With This Hobby.

Actually ,a quad can bring down a commercial jet..If a bird flying or being sucked into the turbine can, so could a quad which can do much more damage to the blades. I can somewhat see the privacy issue herem..If you are purposely hovering over a neighbors yard to see the misses sunbathing you...

    Motor upgrade question

Im the same way..i cant consider "stock" good enough for me hahaha....I always have to figure out a way to gain more performance or improve something. Coming from an off shore powerboat and drag racing back ground, its just in my blood. I was drag racing an 87 5.0 mustang back in the early 90s...

The wifi models arent getting very good reviews at all...basically they dont work worth a crap...There are wifi models where you talk to the quad and tell it what to do as well...The wifi feature is just in too early of stages and needs alot of refining on the quads. The X5C-1 is the clear...

Brushed motors typically wear out much faster but, with proper care some can last as much as 40 to 50 battery packs of flight. The 7.4 brushed models are as powerful as you can get for toy quads...that x8c being able to lift 200g is no joke for a toy, to be honest..Thats impressive for the...

The X9 is super lightweight clone of the Blade nQX...It uses small 6mm motors as does the blade and is actually not far off from the performance of that $100.00 blade...This is one i have coming as it gets very good reviews and is said to be a very good indoor flyer...the bayang is considered...

Didnt mean to overwhelm...there is just so many choices to make..I tend to recommend models that are highly popular and get good reviews...They all have some sort of issue with either range or motors burning out quickly or fragile bodies that crack if you sneeze. The X5C-1 is a very very...

Geared motors tend to use a larger prop and have a higher KV motor rating..Actually geared set ups are more stable from the use of larger props but also tend to weigh alot more. Look in the banggood USA warehouse..i think they still have the hubsan 107C for sale for $25.00..i think it does come...

No soldering iron is really needed for FPV..most are plug and play..Whats great about the syma kit is, its all built into the camera case...you clip on the camera..attach the plug (s) and install the monitor on the radio and youre done..Again its not the greatest FPV but it does work and is a...

I have to mention here...One thing about these toy quads i dont like is all the great deals have to ship from china..Sometimes over a month to receive your product but when you do finally get it its a blast. One thing to keep in mind is its a pretty smart decision to buy a spare of almost...

    Help with Syma x8c

Let me ask this...After the motor quits and it sits for however long.. does it spin again and then cut out again afterwards?...is that motor hot compared to the rest?

    Help with Syma x8c

Well, its not uncommon for a quad to have an issue right out of the box. If everything spins ok, maybe try to send it back for an exchange or a refund and try another one. There is only 3 possible things it could be and i mentioned all 3. 1.) The motor 2.) The drive gears/shaft 3.) A bad...

    Help with Syma x8c

Sounds like a motor issue or something happening with the gear drives. Turn each prop by hand and see if one is maybe slightly harder to turn than the other. My guess is either something is binding or its just a bad motor in general..i would guess the one motor that stops is probably quite hot...

"Rock a bye Syma on the tree top, when the wind blows my Syma will drop"..haha. There are quite a few models to choose from ranging in different sizes and with different features. Headless mode is a fail safe, in that orientation is pretty much made easy..No mater what direction the quad...
