Id go with at least a 200 mw vtx, many go 600.That will require more than 5 volts. The lumenier is 7-12. Id go with a 3s battery with more mah, maybe 2200 or so. And buy ALOT of xtra props bud. Youre gonna need them. Be careful with that thing even a plastic prop can cut your finger off .

You get the low battery message but theyre not low on charge. Have you tried flying a second time with a "low battery"? If its charged then it should still fly. Sounds like a bad voltage sensor

DJI has gone through great lengths to make their products user friendly even if youve never flown. Id get the phantom 3 if I were you. Theres alot of failsafes and safety features. Im sure youll do fine. Youre gonna love these things.

Sounds like theres a problem with the link from fc to laptop. Make sure you follow the correct order of steps when you connect your usb.

Those motors are rated for 4s. 30a escs can easily handle more than that. Also those motors should get 11-13" props. Stay with the 4s battery but maybe go with 13" props i wouldnt go smaller
