    Hey Guys

Get yourself a nano and fly it around the house. For + or - $17 you cant go wrong. Takes the edge off.(although I took my 650 up today to test the new firmware, which was awesome!) springs a comin!!

Drone flips when backing off throttle

Have you gone into openpilot/librepilot and calibrated anything? You can test the motors there. You may have smoked the escs with the short. Are any of the wires going to the fc damaged?(speaking from experience on that one). Only takes a split second to render the esc useless

QAV-R RTF starting up problem? please help

Hmm my experience has always been holding down both sticks to arm; usually to the 8&4 oclock positions. Are your sticks calibrated?

    Beginning FPV

Ha! Yeah it takes a bit of getting used to for sure esp when youre learning on a fast quad, as I did also. One wrong move and well.... you know. It gets freaky when you hear the quad getting close to you but your eyes are telling you its really not all that close. Good luck with it and buy alot...

    FPV Wiring Question

The only osd I run is a tarot on my 650. It comes with the plugs and theres a ground(that I use). The fatshark vtx's I run have the power plug, which has a ground, but I just run the video wire without the ground in the second (video,5v,ground) plug and it seems fine. Gyro doctor makes a good...

QAV-R RTF starting up problem? please help

Try arming your motors by holding both sticks down and to the right or left. They should turn on. If not you might have to calibrate your sticks. I mean it could be alot of things but try this first.

Drone flips when backing off throttle

That might be an accelerometer issue. Probably needs calibtaring. My 280 does that too if I nail it. Thats alot of work for the fc to do in a very short amount of time esp if it isnt calibrated perfectly. I just learned to roll on the throttle.

    GPS positioning for quadcopter

I dont think operating a drone through thick rainforest via gps will happen anytime soon. Above the canopy yes but through it.... nope. Were not there yet, if ever. We dont have perfect gps stability yet. Were about +- 1.5 meters. And thats with a perfect 6-10 satellite lock. In a rainforest...

    Help for a NOOB

Or this !! Im only kidding... drones can really only fly in dry calm days. And if you did get a "waterproof"one, the footage would suck anyway. Plus the whole wind thing. Not sure its worth spending the ching on one.

Radiolink At9 firmware 1.5.2 upgrade info

Ok just wanted to make sure the protocols were compatible. As far as why it's not binding I just can't tell you. There's nothing overly complicated about it so it's really kind of hard to not do it right maybe you have a bum receiver? Do you have another one you can try binding?

Radiolink At9 firmware 1.5.2 upgrade info

I'm going to reply to my own question. Yes you can buy little tripod levels put them on all six sides of the flight controller while it's installed you can put one on the very bottom of the quad and when I calibrated my accelerometer it worked perfectly.

Radiolink At9 firmware 1.5.2 upgrade info

Yeah I just recalibrated after upgrading firmware. Now I have to recal my accelerometer. What a pain. You know if I can do it with little levels on each side of the fc? Dont really want to take it off.....

Radiolink At9 firmware 1.5.2 upgrade info

Turn the transmitter on. Hold bind button until the red light stops blinking and stays solid red. Then push the button again.

Think its just a matter of pushing the bind button again till the light turns blue

Radiolink At9 firmware 1.5.2 upgrade info

Just a note about it. The new 1.5.2 upgrade brings the R9D receiver up to 10 or 12 channels, you can actually make the change easily on the transmitter between the two. But here's the important part I wanted to share. If you have it set on 12 channels after the update, the r9d receiver will...
