    transmitter/receiver question

They would run them, but have less than optimal thrust. They seem to provide very little thrust as it is for some reason or another.

    transmitter/receiver question

I would suggest you get some 2204-2300kv motors or a little bigger than 1806-2300kv Here is a comparison. Here is a thread that may provide some useful info for FPV.

    transmitter/receiver question

Welcome to the forum, I could not find much info on your Tx, but I believe that Walkera uses DSS, and if yours does use DSS modulation then this should work. Go ahead and post your part list and we can take a look at it and see if anything looks out of place, or if there are any ideas we...

My first build Armattan cf 258

Take a look at the eachine 250 or the Robocat. See what you think, they may be a little more than you are willing to spend just yet.

First build parts list check before order

Take a look at some D.A.L props. They are the most rugged props I've seen hahaha. you pretty much stop using when they are too bent to re-balance.

Cheap, yet good FPV setups to get you started

Certainly not junk, might try to claim a warranty if it came with one. I'd suggest you just power from a 3S LiPo. Be sure to talk to them about it, but it sounds like a DOA.

First build parts list check before order

hahaha,if the C rating on the battery is too low for what you pull it won't nessasarly be sluggish as the battery will provide the amperage that is asked of it, but it will likely ruin the battery, and may even set it on fire if you are pulling way too high. Example battery: 1500mAh, 3S...

Cheap, yet good FPV setups to get you started

In this case I don't think it is current hungry, and voltage is voltage, so battery should not make a difference. However I have known teh wrong spec sheets to come with things I bought from china, and sometimes even just the wrong specs. What part on the board smoked, you can probably...

Cheap, yet good FPV setups to get you started

How long until it smoked, and did you have the antenna in good? If you use them without an antenna for a minute they can overheat.

First build parts list check before order

Yeah, the windings are a little heavier gauge to accommodate the higher max amp draw, the bell is 2215 vs 1806, and the mounting pattern on the bottom is standard with regular screws, the DYS motors take really tiny bolts and I had to modify my frame to accommodate the weird pattern. Just all...

First build parts list check before order

I have both DYS and Multistar Elites, there is a big difference in quality, and a tiny difference in price. If you can I'd suggest you get the Multistar Elite motors.

How many volts is your setup specced for?

    Hi everyone! Just curious...

In that case they are either using directional brushes or if it were also a preformance problem then they probably have the timing set with a little directional bias.

    First DIY: Arris X-Speed B 250

"3.3 Ghz transmitter and receiver" You could get 5.8 cheaper, but 3.3 will give you longer range. You might not need a HAM license for 3.3gHz FPV, though most FPV is done a little outside the law anyways. Otherwise everything looks fine. If possible I'd suggest getting better motors.

    Hi everyone! Just curious...

Many times the parts are interchangeable on these toy quads, when a motor wire breaks soldering it back is by far the best option, you should be able to buy a few sets of them also, they are coreless DC, so you can also just wire them in backwards if you were to only have CCW and need a CW motor.

On the yellow I just want to know is it a Tx, and what frequency, on the blue can you list the model or part numbers that appear on them?

    Unexpected Newbie

Yeah the equipment really cost, but it is usually good quality. Can you give a link to the camera you have then? If it is reasonably priced I may end up getting one hahaha.

    QuadCopter and FPV

Welcome to the forum, To be able to help you you might need to provide a little bit of info. Can you list the stuff you have? Looks like you are also setting up for a LRS, am I correct in saying that? Also you may want to change to cloverleaf antennas instead of the di-pole.
