    Electrical question

RENOV8R is probabl right, butif you are fortunate enough to have a spec sheet we could double check. Does it say anything about the motor's amp draw, or amp draw to the quad?

    power looping

Are you translating to English? If so you need a better translator because I have absolutely no idea what you are trying to say.

    Discounts @ Hobbking

Thanks, I don't need any of those items just yet, but I'm sure someone will save a buck out of it.

    Motors

Sure they are not closer to 20$? Hahahaha. I wanna see a video of that punchout :P.

Help me build this Sky Terror.

It would be very similar to these build videos, at least with these you can see what is going on. Hahahahahaha.

Motor, ESC and Servo for DX6i

Other way around actually, the motor will draw however many amps it 'wants' and both the ESC and the motor will suffer depending on which is rated for lower amperage. If you are using 20 amp ESCs on motors rated for 8 you don't have a problem, but if you put too big a prop on the motor and...

    Motors

here is a little info that might help you better understand it DC current is determined meaning that it is steady, a strait line, so there is no phase. Here are a couple graphs I did really quick that should clear any of that up. AC in your house: (single phase AC, it is called that...

    Motors

On those motors I believe the threads are all CW. Just tighten them nice and preferably use lock nuts (AKA nylon insert nuts).

Idiot attempts world record at 3.4 Km/11.000 feet with Phantom Drone

Well do we know for sure that he broke the law in this case? You can get legal exemption and permission from ATC to attempt such things. In the US (in my state even) the guys at flight test got a RC plane up to the upper atmosphere seeing black the black abyss with a weather balloon...

FPV Mini Quad Racing Pilot Is The Goal

Well I am getting almost perfect picture on mine. I'm not really going too far beyond LOS most of the time and fly in an almost perfect treeless, hill where there is nothing on 2.4gHz or 5.8gHz for at least a mile hahahaha. The trick if you aren't fortunate enough to live near such a place...

FPV Mini Quad Racing Pilot Is The Goal

If you go with a build or upgrade I suggest you get the EMAX red bottoms, or some cobras. They pretty much smoke competitors in thrust and speed in general. If you want to go off the deep end I'd suggest sub 250 class just for their speed and ability to do gaps. If you have a little...

Problems with kk2.1.5 and sk450 frame

Sounds like you need to tune your PIDs or find a similar build and use those PIDs. www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uploads/161447249X30206X38.pdf

Cheap, yet good FPV setups to get you started

In that case the quantum goggles may be better than some other nicer ones like the headplays simply because of their lens' distance is adjustable

    wich props should I use?

Not a bad setup, though you might opt for a better frame, or wait to see if this cheaper one breaks because you might have a few crashes before learning to fly well. The NAZA will help a lot with that though hahahaha. Do you already have a set of goggles or are going to opt for the...

So I know this is a forum about quadcopters but...

Cleaned up replies that had nothing to do with the original question or vaguely were related and sent them over here.

Cheap, yet good FPV setups to get you started

I have heard of people switching to them or Headplay goggles simply for the ability to use glasses, but I can't speak for the quantum v2s as to how well they work/feel with glasses.

Motor, ESC and Servo for DX6i

Pretty much all you need to know is if you need a flight controller for PWM or PPM(AKA CPPM) other than that most everything is universally compatible. The AR6200 should be PWM which is fairly standard.

Some OT Plane stuff and Meta discussion

Here is one that was unveiled at CES, but saftey is a real concern as quadcopters are not stable without power like a helicopter is. Helicopters are MUCH safer in the case of some equipment failure.
