Cheap FPV for a nano quad?

What type of budget? I have a couple ideas but they may be a tad over weight. If you are up for some DIY hackery you might get an ultra light setup for a few bucks. @Mike H. would probably know about how much weight you can reasonable add.

Some OT Plane stuff and Meta discussion

I see no problem posting this type of stuff under general as it is somewhat relevant, and I'm sure some people on here dabble in R/C planes (well at least I've started to hahaha). Perhaps an Off-Topic section with other RC stuff like Planes and helis would be nice if there are enough people...

    fx-6ci

Well the price varies ~60$ so what I'm seeing may be a couple different variations. About what did you pay for it?

Looking for fpv setup with goggles

Predators are horrible, you could not even tell a tree from a field of grass, the quantum V2 or something similar are probably the best you could do at that price, and the quantumv2 is not all that bad to be honest.

FPV feed cut out issues. HELP!!!!!

Hahaha, I'm sad to say I'm into some of that stuff :P I almost build a CO2 laser CNC rather than a quad, I'm afraid that limited funds is the only reason I have yet to kill myself :P If I bought everything I wanted to do for hobby electronics I'd be dead for sure hahahah

FPV feed cut out issues. HELP!!!!!

Ehh, out of 4 only 1 has come out to where the cells still balance. They form oxidation between the layers within the battery and it pretty much ruins them. They are usually fine for low discharge applications though as the higher internal resistance does not impair them much for that. Now...

FPV feed cut out issues. HELP!!!!!

Well if a LiPo's voltage drops too low (usually below 3.3v) the battery's life will diminish, and many chargers won't even charge after that point unless you put it into NiMh or Lead Acid mode. Many VTx don't have a LoVo cut-off unless your using a BEC. I was not only referring to the...

    Drone drifting backwards

I talking about a similar problem today and a guy who was a developer for open pilot seemed to think that the problem with that quad was that it was move during gyro initialization. That could be your problem here.

    Drone drifting backwards

Make sure to get the correct one for your board, MPU<4 digit number> is all you need to verify, they are dirt cheap so you might as well try to replace them hahaha. Here is a picture where I marked the MPU on the board.

    Drone drifting backwards

Sounds like bad AMUs which you could replace with a soldering iron, but would probably want a hot air iron. Might be best to get a new CC3D.

FPV feed cut out issues. HELP!!!!!

If this is the case your LiPo alarm should be going off and it would need you need some better batteries.

so you want a quadcopter or multirotor

I'd suggest 5x4.7 or 4x4.7x3 props and smaller ESCs if it does not have enough thrust to make you happy. After these motors are finished I'd suggest Multistar Elite for quality, or Cobra for Quality and performance.

    New build

But what are they? It can go up if you have the props/motors all CW or all CCW, however it will YAW pretty fast.

    New build

Also make sure your motors are spinning the right ways with appropriate props, if you put them all CW or all CCW the copter will do that.

URGENT HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

If you are only using stabilization and no auto-level (The I value will start to get a tiny bit off over time like this) you can put the FCB anywhere on the frame as the angle is the same, I tried mounting it on an arm to test this and was surprised to see it worked great in 'rate' mode (just...

URGENT HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

Well that is not likely your problem, on a 400mm quad you could have a 2'' difference and not experience any real problems.
