Looking to buy a Drone and overwelmed by the choices

The SYMA X8C has the longest flight times of any brushed type quads i know..mainly due to the 2s lipo as opposed to a single cell lipo...most any 7.4v quad is going to be better flight time wise..A 350mah 1s lipo wont last as long as a 2s 350mah lipo...The syma x8 has something like a 2200mah 2s...

    New Transmitter For a Quadcopter

Unless you know what the protocol is for the X101 its hard to say what, if any other transmitters are compatible...The good news is, the protocol is deviation compatible meaning, if you wanted a more hobby grade radio, the Walkera DEVO 7E can be programmed to fly it with but, its not easy to...

    New cam on a budget?

Im still wanting to go with something much less weight..My thoughts are if you dont stress the motors even though they can handle the weight it should make a for long motor life and ease of flight..not to mention way longer flight times.

Syma X5c Not Binding With JJRC H5C Transmitter

Its not the same protocol for jjrc as it is syma..Syma also changed it for the x5c-1 over the X5C model. There a quite a few x5c look a like models that dont use the same protocols. You could install your jjrc flight control board in the syma and then use the jjrc radio or you need to purchase...

    Modding RTF quad transmitter antennas

Would be nice to see a lipo battery conversion mod in the x5 transmitter..im sure someone has done it .. the discharge curve on a lipo is far better than alkaline batteries or NiMh rechargeables.

Another "can you help me decide" thread

I think turnigy is more the clone of flysky..flysky is known as a protocol...Alot of toy quads have been using it for sometime now. Once you install deviation software into the devo you can just about fly any quad with it with the proper module and program. I think most all programmable radios...
