My latest build is a Tarot

I was going to ask, on the subject of Tarot, has anyone figured out what the extra socket on the side of the GPS puck is for?

My latest build is a Tarot

wow. very discouraging. I still haven't heard back from Tarot either. I will double check the status of that driver though. But not today. I'm about half way through the mechanical installation of the new V2, and halfway through the reading and downloading work. Keeping my fingers crossed...

My latest build is a Tarot

The OS is Win 8.1. When I plug the usb into the laptop, the comp. does respond with it's normal 3 beeps, and then 2 beeps when I disconnect. That's the same thing the support tech. asked. Well, he asked if I was using Win 7 or 10. I replied with specifics, still waiting for a reply. ON A...

My latest build is a Tarot

Renov8r, a question for you if I may. I received my Tarot zyx-m on Friday, and spent the weekend pulling my hair out trying to start the calibration and set up procedures. Problem is, when I click on the "connect" button in the upper right of the assistant software dashboard, nothing happens...

New replacement arms fpr my quad

Re-build complete, mechanically at least. Now I'm just awaiting the arrival of my new Tarot ZYX control. Keeping fingers crossed.

New replacement arms fpr my quad

Well, I'm satisfied with the paint job, so now I'm ready to start re-building my quad. The carbon fiber arms that came with the Alien Bee proved to be rather destructible, only 2 survived the last crash. So I had to do what I could with materials available. I cut these new arms from aircraft...

recurring prob. with Naza M Lite

COMING SOON!!! Something a little more positive than all the bitching I've been doing lately. The new motor mount arms that I had to make are ready to go to the paint booth. They came out very nice, and I think they'll be a lot better than the rather flimsy ones I received. I'll be posting...

recurring prob. with Naza M Lite

flying new Turnigy 3S in both videos. The video that starts with quad already in flight, - had been flying around for at least 10 minutes or so. the other video was started after I had been out there performing basic flight tests for several minutes. Batteries are good, and well maintained...

recurring prob. with Naza M Lite

Here's a link to an earlier vid., when I had first mounted my RunCam in the quad. The video is only the 2nd half or so of the full flight. The camera mount wasn't really satisfactory, I seemed to be getting a lot of "jello". But in spite of that, you can see that I was enjoying a stable...

recurring prob. with Naza M Lite

Thank you Jackson, that clarifies things, and yes, that was my last fatal flight, and the 4th time the FCB has done this. Hard to believe. Now that you've "trained" me on uploading video, I'm going to look, I believe I have another RunCam video when the FCB did the same thing to me.

recurring prob. with Naza M Lite

Jackson, sendvid.com web site was pretty simple to upload the video, took a while because I sent the full vid instead of the zipped version. However, I have no idea where the video went, or how to access it. The web site wasn't terribly informative about where the file went when I uploaded...

recurring prob. with Naza M Lite

Done! (I think.) I was attempting a "point of interest" type rotation around my launch point. All went well until I was about 180* through the rotation, and the low voltage alarm went off. I continued to the 270* mark and tried to return to "home". Almost made it too.

recurring prob. with Naza M Lite

Ringolong, good suggestion, but not quite on the mark. I had just downloaded a software update as advised by "Andrew" at DJI, and went through the calibrations afterward. Just out of curiosity, I did recheck those values yesterday, and they had been jarred slightly out of wack. No surprise...

recurring prob. with Naza M Lite

Well Jackson, after watching my 500 size quad slamming into the ground from various altitudes on 4 different occasions, I'm not inclined to fly that Naza in a helium balloon. I've read a lot of great reviews on the product, and the 2 times I was able to test the return and land failsafe, I was...

recurring prob. with Naza M Lite

Wondering if anyone else has had this problem with DJI. Four times I have had seemingly successful flights with my quad controlled by DJI M Lite, right up until final approach for a manual landing. Each of the 4 times, the craft has come within 100' of take-off location, when suddenly, without...
