I've come close to losing my quad before because I forgot to take it of low rates and the wind caught it. I was up around 200 feet or so when I realized it was still on low. Now when I fly that quad (syma x8) the first thing I do is switch to high. It becomes a habit after a while.

Hmm, interesting concept. You want to run a toy drone on a real tx, I like the idea. I've never heard of such an adapter but it sounds cool. I wonder if I could get my bugs 3 to bind with my flysky?

Hello Torc, yes when ordering bnf (bind and fly) you choose the receiver that will bind with your tx (transmitter).

Since the tariffs are for raw material like steel and aluminum I don't think it will effect our quad hobby, but to be on the safe side I'm buying what I want now.

Why do you have weights tied to the landing gear? Have you tried the recalibration where you hold the controller sticks down and to the left or something? My x8 started doing something similar last year and the recalibration fixed it. I can't remember exactly how to do it but you can find...

It flies well and I don't really want to upgrade the firmware. However I know my qx90 is capable of doing flips but I have to be able to change some of the settings. When I hook up to the cleanflight app it tells me I need to upgrade.
