I didn't think so but what other answer could there be ? I was wearing gloves, switched the tx off, then holding the two trim levers switched back on to go to menu. Lesson learned: DO NOT wear gloves when going into menu!

Welcome. I don't have any experience with a cw4 but it looks like a good quad for beginners. If you love drones you are in the right place. Word of caution: you fly the cheap toys at first but then you'll want the bigger better faster toys later!!!!

This guy explains it fairly well, of course this is assuming you're able to get back into los after losing los: If you're unable to get back into los AND you lose your video feed then I suggest landing blindly and going for a walk to find your quad, something I've had to do at least once.

I always fly out of los and have to rely on my video feed. Nope not screwed. I don't have RTH feature on any of my drones because it's for sissies:Dbut a yaw, climb yaw climb combo can usually let you know what direction your quad is facing. :)

I had all the components for a build in my cart ready to buy when I decided to just buy a wizard220 instead. Yes building a quad looks like fun but flying them is what I'm really into. Build it or buy it as long as you fly it.

Okay you guys convinced me, the wizard has been ordered! I'll figure out the antenna issue when it gets here. I read somewhere the wizard will top out at 50-60 mph right out of the box. Does that sound correct?

I could fly to to work in 35-40 mile wind. Only rain or snow would force me to resort to travel like the "groundies".
