    problem with one motor?

Maybe he got it going but forgot to apply failsafeo_O. He's now hip deep in nettles. Oh that's terrible, just because it happened to me. Nettles, not a flyaway. Only it ended up, not in the nettles & 15' away. I should have took a pic of my legs but I was made up I got my first bird back. It was...

    Solder pads on fc goneburgers

Still gonna have problems, that spare doesn't give 5v out. supplying cam, vtx, rx will be a problem. Led is only 3.3v. If it has one. You would need a buck. What pad is it that is left on its own. Probably a ground. Handy if it was 5v. If it's an AIO vtx/cam you may get it going with the rx...

    Wing out of the blue

Well, I got onto YouTube watching pavel scrlalky or something, who is a major contributor to the inav code. Who says it's normal to have less stick travel on angle/horizon while bench testing. 2 fixes Raise the percentage in the tx adjustments or mess with piff. As soon as I can get out I'll...

    Solder pads on fc goneburgers

12w crank it up.. o_O If there is no Solder on the tip. Don't Solder, put some on. 60/40 rosin core. It is needed for the heat transfer to be quick. The idea is to heat the immediate area ASAP & get out. Rather than heat the whole board up & lose pads because you may be doing to many at once...

    Wing out of the blue

Sorted now & guess what weather turned but clearing up midweek so I have changed a few things. I took thr motor mount off & put the motor back in the original place as putting it further back added more weight to the rear of the CG. Needing more ballast in the nose. This thing already weighs...

    Solder pads on fc goneburgers

I used pins starting out with servo connectors. Then just soldered to the pins. Now I just rip all the(carefully) jst connections off & direct Solder the lot. Keeps the weight down aswell as a mm or two off the stack allows more air in. Flux is your friend but clean up after him or it will look...

    Solder pads on fc goneburgers

it looks very similar to this but it's not it. & not any specs or info on it either. Is yours a 1S board. When you get boards this small it doesn't take a lot of heat to warm the whole board. Even the ground wires. You need to get a micro tip soldering iron if going this small. Maybe a battery...

    Solder pads on fc goneburgers

The esc should supply 5v through the cable but it doesn't lookike there is a spare uart on that board. It looks like you are not using the buzzer pads, so see if you can remap them. But i doubt it. We need to know what board it is, I know it's not an omnibus or piko.

    Solder pads on fc goneburgers

If it is then :(. You could try scratching the screen off & try soldering just above. If your soldering skill ain't that good get an 18watt iron. Not too hot & you can get used to it. Practice on an old TV or hifi.

Caught in the act of stupidity?

Should have just showed it & said yeah we're checking up on so what. They don't own the airspace around the property. If they are legit they could show the flight path & disprove the lying a-holes on the site. Just a normal stop & search then they can whistle.but seen as they where checking a...

    problem with one motor?

Have a look at the endpoints in blheli for each esc. 2 little sliders underneath direction. Do all four match what is in configuration for low, mid, high endpoints. Did you calibrate esc's. Check the Solder joints on that motor line back to the FC & pdb. If using one. A signal wire with a dry...
