Whould you want to have a huge radio control drone??

I wouldn't because of the issues there is for flying it. There are two parks that I could fly one but I am not much into the ariel photo aspect. I am more an FPV (non-racer). The smaller the better because I can zip around my yard whenever I want to.

Eachine Tiny QX95 95mm Micro FPV

Please keep in mind that, up until about 3 months ago, I had next to no knowledge of the world of quads or RC in general, so my questions can be seen as coming from the inquisitive nature of an unenlightened newbie. The question stemmed from the wondering if the current motors could go onto a...

Eachine Tiny QX95 95mm Micro FPV

@Dugdog47 That would be a good thing for when I get the beast up and flight capable. Then all I'll need is the FC. @Spork This definitely won't be the last drone that will grace my hanger, just the one with the best deal with what I currently have. I'm addicted so like potato chips, you can't...

Eachine Tiny QX95 95mm Micro FPV

Has anyone had any experience with this drone? I've been back and forth over what type of drone I'd like to get, thinking that the Babyhawk would be the one, but have been looking at my CX-30's with sadness because if I go up the next level, they are going to spend time collecting dust, a bit...

    Am I Missing Something?

Heck, even in the summer HD can be a cold place. Made the mistake of riding in the back of a pick up to a medieval reenactment war there and I was surprised that I did not get hypothermia once the sun went down.

    Am I Missing Something?

This was something that became an issue with the guy I bought the F450 from. Being a total rookie to the RC world, my first introduction to the actual hobby was a well-equipped vet with good intentions but low on patience and understanding that not everyone has the money he has. He would fill...

Hense my wondering why there are no co-ops in this hobby. :)

    Am I Missing Something?

Hit the nail on the head! Just getting to the point of having something beyond a toy to fly, tx, and the charging set-up and extra batteries has been an investment, not counting the few extras I have bought (or dug up from storage).

    Am I Missing Something?

The issue I have found with diy is getting the tools and supplies needed to do it. The partially built F450 I bought for $25 from a "not a drone guy" guy, is missing a receiver and FC and the setup is plug and play, which the FC I plan to get for it is a spare one from the same guy soldered up...

    Am I Missing Something?

I am a mix on this, I like the idea of buying with the ability to repair/modify so I can do the work myself.

    Off the Cuff thought

As I am now adding 4 more 3.7v batteries to my collection, I was thinking about how I will set up my battery bunker. It occurred to me that I may have the best smelling and (theoretically) tasting lipos around.

Sir Torc's Quest for the Holy Quad

In the attempt to endure the toxic environment of work, I combed through videos on the QX7 and found this one that I thought was a good one to implement, learning from others pain. I know I have done the same thing before both on the simulator and with the CX-30. Tho they are small, the props...

    Spork's Journey

I'm thinking of trying the same, flying around the yard while using the TV at some point, once I get something with a decent range and can work with the QX7.

    Absurd DJI after-sales service

Hmm, might need to invest in such a setup with my drones considering I have a swamp for a yard til likely midsummer.
