Sir Torc's Quest for the Holy Quad

Tried my hand at making a custom splash screen that took me a bit to work it out and settle on a good first. I also flipped the arming switch to share the sounds I added.

    Absurd DJI after-sales service

I would think there would be mesh straps to mount the pontoons. would sake on weight and more durable with heat issues.

    Spork's Journey

I could just here the cursing that ensued when that happened.

Sir Torc's Quest for the Holy Quad

Now that I have my SD card issue resolved, for the most part, I have been able to add the Amber sound pack and assign sounds to the global settings. Being a Tron fan, I have scoured the interwebs for sound bytes from the movie and cartoon (Tron: Uprising) and have applied them with success but...

Sir Torc's Quest for the Holy Quad

Yea. No idea why, tho the error still comes up. Scared me when I heard the welcome voice, wasn't expecting it. On another good note with Freerider, I was able to pull off an entire lap on the Meadows map hitting every gate without crashing!

Today's lesson When getting the SD version issue, try a different version, even if it says it's looking for another version.

FIXED: SD Error: Expected ver: 2.2V001*

Ok, got a better result. Got a new so card, save result. I installed v2.20010 and whoa! Amber said hello! - still get the error but I get sounds and they all work! So it wasn't me.

FIXED: SD Error: Expected ver: 2.2V001*

Got a lovely error that there are no sounds of the SD card even after loading the Amber pack and if I try to play a wav it says path too long.

    Ready for a baby....

Very true. It will be a bit before I get another quad, saving up and all, so I'll have time to research.

    Ready for a baby....

That makes more sense and I remember now that I read that. so BNF is a must.

    Ready for a baby....

....Hawk that is. So, this is the first hobby grade quad I'll be purchasing and want to be sure what I need to look at. So far my understanding is that a BNF comes with a battery, a PNP does not. Will there need to a certain one to get to work with my Q X7?

FIXED: SD Error: Expected ver: 2.2V001*

Found a potential fix. There was talk on another forum about junk files hidden in the SD card for Mac. Potential issue with mine since I only did quick formats. Time to do a full format and try again. I am getting quite good at getting around this tx.

    Will it impact using sounds?

FIXED: SD Error: Expected ver: 2.2V001*

I came across a comment in a Joshua Bardwell video where a viewer said he edited the version file, but didn't say how. I looked at the file and the version matched.

FIXED: SD Error: Expected ver: 2.2V001*

Thank you, I'll check it out. I got it running on Freerider, so I'm destressing. World of difference in flight! Managed to do a lap hitting all the gates!

FIXED: SD Error: Expected ver: 2.2V001*

Update: 3/25/18 It turned out the issue was how I was installing the files. I unzipped the sdcard-taranis-x7-2.2V0013 file which created a folder of the same name, which contained the needed files. Where I went wrong was taking the unzipped folder and put it in the tx, instead of taking the...

Sir Torc's Quest for the Holy Quad

My tech support skills are being put to the test. Switches didn't get assigned, so when I tried to set inputs, the switch's were not listing or responding to toggling them. Figured out how to assign them function and add them to the model settings.
