Got some flight time in. Forgot, twice, to do preflight check on settings, ended up in a tree 20 feet in the air for a bit. Tried flying a loop, definitely needs more power. And hope the few selfies doesn't scare anyone.

I honestly do not have a plan other than to have fun, learn something new, and get my testosterone reload when people are being fickle. At least with this hobby, there isn't a need for others to enjoy myself (unlike bike polo, Hnefatafl, and just about all my other interests)

The downside for me is the cost compared to where I want to go with the hobby. The CX-30W is fun and a good learning tool until I get the next step up but I can save the cost of the iRange and put it towards that better quad. I could go without my Highlander Grogg for 12 days for the cheaper...

When I first bought my CX-30 the guy I was talking to suggested bumping up to 800MaH, with likely a change out of the stock connectors with the purpose of increased flight time. I do believe he did the same to the one gifted to him from a shop.

Only once, the branches were more a challenge but overall it went well, ended up taking out three props.

Took the drones out and flew them with high settings this time and what a difference!
