    Hello from a rank beginner

I use a 5x parallel charging lead sometimes to charge multiple 1S batteries for my Symas (micro Losi connector, I believe the same as the JJRC H31). It has the red JST connector, which you should get a lead for with your B6 charger. Like Jackson said, you hook them up to the cable for a couple...

    Imax B6AC

You can buy a power supply that's compatible with the iMax chargers just about anywhere. I have the B6 mini and I use this charger: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003Z6ZR5O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Check your instruction manual. It says to put the quad on a flat, level surface and bind it. Then push both sticks down and to the right and hold. You should get two "beeps" and a red light flash to confirm the gyro has re-calibrated. A lot of quads use this same control sequence to calibrate.

Welcome to the forum. Lots of folks (including me) learning here. I would suggest starting with basics. Learn to hover first. Everyone who thinks he is going t bind his first quad and punch holes in the sky is about to spend a lot of money replacing things. Keep the quad facing away from you and...

Storage box for parts, soldering iron, etc.

As my involvement in this grows, I'm finding that my life is getting cluttered with spare parts: motors, props, screws, soldering iron, landing gear, etc. I'd like to find something like a tackle box, preferably plastic, that has compartments the right size for parts from micro to Phantom size...

    JJRC H8D/Potensic F183DH

I've been flying this as time and weather permit. The 650mah batteries definitely help with the flight times, but they're still not terribly long. At some point I will remove the stop post and install some batteries in the 850-1000mah range. The quad is super responsive and quick. I'm going...

I pulled the trigger! I ordered the Phantom 3 Standard

Woohoo! What else are you flying in the meantime?

    JJRC H8D/Potensic F183DH

Anyone else flying one of these? I got one super cheap from Banggood after reading a bunch of reviews. For $90, it seemed like a good buy. They have the reputation for burning up motors if you fly them unmodified, so I installed bearings and added some additional ventilation around the motors...

I pulled the trigger! I ordered the Phantom 3 Standard

That's a great price on a very good quad. You'll have a blast with it, I'll bet!

DJI Web Site Phantom 3 Advanced not available in my country???

I believe DJI recently discontinued the P3 Advanced and Pro. They still sell the P3 Standard. The remaining stock seems to be going fast, especially of the Pro.

    JJRC J1000 battery???

Looks like a pretty standard 3.7V 250mah LiPo with a Losi micro connector. Same battery as a ton of micro quads, and it's readily available on Amazon. It should be the same battery as the very popular Syma X11 and X11C.

    Throttle and rudder/yaw

It's human nature to want to "fast forward" through the learning curve. However, you can make a pretty good argument for learning by mastering fundamentals, and it seems to me that coordinating smooth banked turns is one of these. I'm pretty new to quads but years ago I flew RC gliders (well)...

Please teach me X5SW-1 help im new

The X5's don't like much breeze at all, and any at all will be a problem for your first flights. I'd recommend indoors. For one thing, it will force you to keep your movements small, which is exactly what you want to do. Flying in a confined space will make you learn small, precise movements...

Please teach me X5SW-1 help im new

I haven't been timing flights, but my sense is I get perhaps 2 more minutes out of the higher capacity batteries. It is true that removing camera and prop guards extend the time some as well...perhaps a minute or so? Caveat: I'm a rookie with quads, but many years ago was an intermediate+ level...

Best FPV Drone at lowest price?

Take a look at the JJRC H8D and the Potensic F183DH. I believe they are the same machine, just branded differently. I just ordered one, but haven't received it yet so I can't recommend either way.

    Recommendation for medium-sized FPV drone

I did a ton of research and ordered a JJRC H8D. Based on what I'm reading and seeing, I plan on doing some immediate modifications (antenna, motor cooling, bearings). The main complaint has been motors burning out on this quad. However, for the money it seems to be a cheap but functional 5.8 ghz...

Please teach me X5SW-1 help im new

You can also get 650mah and 720mah batteries quickly and cheaply on Amazon.com. I use 720mah ones in my X5SW and they fit with lots of room to spare, so I'm guessing I could use larger capacity ones than that.
