That sounds messy, maybe a single jet for forward thrust & props handling the balance, or trying to. 4 jets is a vtol with servos for forwarding thrust. I could see big problems with turning that unless you have 4 separate vectoring jets. Alot goes into just one as its 4 seperate servos. Upside...

45C is mid range. The lowest I'd go. For acro anyway. For media 20C is plenty. Racing = as high as you can get.

Did you take the 10 channels firmware update for the i6. Ppm is in settings. Just on/off. Ia6 is pwm rx. Ia6b is pwm, ppm & ibus. Setting need changing in both tx & FC to use ibus.

You need esc's. No getting around that one. The smallest motors I've seen are 0706, the smallest I've used is 1106 racerstar. Or emax have some with plastic Bell housing. But I can't remember the size but you can get tricky with the others Even on 2S but they can take 4S.
