LiPo battery charge level for storage

You really need to invest in a decent charger, like the SkyRC B6. There are other good ones (although watch out for counterfeit clones). They have a "Storage" setting and it will charge your batteries to the correct voltage.

Buy RTF FPV drone or Build?

I can't comment on that particular quadcopter, but GetFPV is one of the better vendors out there. If you have a problem with something you got from them, you can call them and actually talk to a tech, and they will bend over backwards to make sure you're a satisfied customer.

You just replace the entire motor. They're only about $12.

    Charging 1s lipos

When you get it, check the switches for both the amperage and the voltage. You can select each individually, for each battery. I think the default amperage is .6A so be careful of your charge rate on these little batteries. I had one of these burn out on me, and that seems to be the biggest...

    Charging 1s lipos

I use one of these and it works great. It charges each battery individually, and this particular one lets you select the voltage separately for each battery. I have some of the high-voltage (4.35V) batteries as well as normal 4.2V. You need a power supply if you don't have one already. 1S...

    First crash

I thought the first answer was a typo and he meant "sand" them. That's what I do. Of course you need to rebalance them afterwards, but I like to get rid of any rough edges, nicks, etc. Whether it makes a detectable difference depends on the quadcopter and the degree of prop damage, but of...

    Batteries and Charging

Not really. Most of us have "real" chargers which are almost always far better than what comes with the quadcopter. Look into something like the SkyRC B6. It's one of the best investments you'll make in this hobby.

    Potensic d80 drone

A real charger like the SkyRC B6, along with an appropriate parallel charging board, will allow you to charge them much faster, and several at a time. The only problem with those batteries is that they're in that shell, so you'll need to rig up some short extension cables to go from the...

    SYMA X5UW upgrades

I suggest removing the camera (and prop guards) altogether. You'll get longer battery life and it will fly better. Just use the Syma to learn to fly, then start looking at drones with better cameras. These toy-grade quadcopters are great for learning, and I still fly my Syma X5 out in the...

BAYANG Toys X21 Replacement Batteries In The U.S. Photo's Attached

Are those the same connector as the Syma X8 batteries? If so then you're in luck. I have an X8 and batteries are easy to find. I'm talking about the original Syma X8 series. I think later variations may have changed the connector.

    imax b6 charger issue

I have the same charger, and it too takes a little time to "ramp up" to the charge rate I have it set for. I never considered it a problem.

Transmitter to control the RTF, toy quads?

Another vote for the T8SG. It will fly almost everything, toy grade and up. Fantastic range, great battery life, very nice gimbals. For me there was a bit of a learning curve since it was my first "real" programmable transmitter, but now I can take any of my quads to the park but only need the...

A newbie's mistake, or should I say..... ignorance?

Unless you want to fly acro. For me, that's the reason I'd buy that quad. There aren't a lot of good cheap acro flyers.

Newbie question about 5.8ghz compatible goggle

I think if you look around you can find the EV800D for $99. That's what I paid for mine. I figured the diversity was worth the extra money, and I was right. Plus as you mentioned, a built in DVR. I bought them as "starter goggles" but frankly I see no reason to upgrade to anything else. I...

    Syma Bind Transmitter and Receiver

From what I understand, some of the V5 boards use the older protocol. I'm not sure what transmitter would work. You could buy a newer X8 board. Or an actual X8C.

    Syma Bind Transmitter and Receiver

That link you posted looks like a transmitter for a Syma X5SW, which I'm pretty sure is different than what the X8C, X5C-1, and X11 use.
