Potensic d80 drone

Just purchased and now have a few questions,
I've done a bit of research, watched some video's and this one kept coming up in the reviews as an ok beginner drone.
Not too pricey, not a lot of bell's & whistle's but some features that seemed good.
Brushless motors, return home, follow me and so on.
Has a fly time of around 15min per pack, so of course I gotta ask is there a way to charge these packs quicker without damaging them, like the charger that comes with the kit could be upgraded?

And over all opinion's of my choice for a first easy to lean drone.

Hi depends on the lipo it should tell you what's it's max charge rate is normal is 1c some can do much higher like 6c , post a pic of the battery and it's plug , a lipo charger with a parallel charging board you can do 6 at a time as long as charger is powerful enough and you can get the plugs that matches your battery

Just had a look if it has the modular battery I don't think a lipo charger will work so your have to buy loads of batteries and charge them before you go

I would be very careful about trying to use a different charger as Li-ion cannot accept an overcharge plus you can overheat and destroy them with too fast a charge. It is very easy to destroy these batteries hence the conservative charge times. Holtneil's suggestion seems the best course to take, to me.

Stopped by the local brick & mortar on the way home, talked for a while about several things including the battery question, until I have the unit and can examine the battery pack, may be able to modify the module to make it so that I can swap out batteries in the container, and it would be like a battery holder that slides in & out of the drone, kind of like what we were doing in the RC trucks a few years ago.
Maybe some 2C 3000 cells or,,,,,,
Also talked about FPV goggle's and upgrading the antenna for a bit more range.
Just going to take my time and set it up for prolonged flights.

A real charger like the SkyRC B6, along with an appropriate parallel charging board, will allow you to charge them much faster, and several at a time. The only problem with those batteries is that they're in that shell, so you'll need to rig up some short extension cables to go from the batteries to the board. It looks like XT30 connectors.

The wiring wouldn't be an issue, I guess it's going to come down to the size of the battery compartment they've designed,
The D80 is a cruiser, large props, and I understand as I increase the payload by changing battery types the compromise of the extra weight defeats flight time because of the increase in the need for more power to lift it,,,,,,,,,

Don't know yet, I'm going to pfd the owners manual to see if I can get some insight on this, like the size,,,,,,,

What are people's opinions on the different FPV goggles?

EDIT: Ok, so I've done a bit of reading, guess my only hope is that the batteries can be some how custom built, may be impossible to change any of it and I'm stuck with what they designed, but then again, there's velcro and wire, maybe parallel in a second on-board battery, wonder how many it can lift,,,,,,,

The DJI phantom 1 flies on one 2200mah battery , you could buy a carbon plate that fitted under the body that you mounted 2 more 2200mah batteries too, so this gave you 6600mah and the phantom did lift the extra weight

My limited experience with two drones, adding a larger battery was that it gave a considerable increase in flying time, even though there was a slight trade off with performance.

First ff I want to thank you guy's for the input,
It came yesterday and we un-boxed last night after work, I guess I got a bit confused, thought I was getting the "NEW" D80 but it seems in my greed for a better price I purchased the all white D80, it is a Potenic but with the older camera, same features as the new model flight wise.
It's about what I figured build wise, but it didn't come with a case, I see a trip to Harbor Freight happening today, they have a case that this will fit into.

Anyway I guess I was wrong about the battery pack, not much I can do just yet, but give me time,,,,
So in a search on Lipo's I found a set from Blomiky, any experience with them?
Charge time on those is only three hours, and it looks like the charger will only do a single pack at a time.

How long will these batteries hold a full charge after being charged, like can I charge batteries the day before and expect them to maintain the charge?

This is our first real drone so lot's of learning to do,

Mine holds a full charge for a few days but the advice on the Batteries and Charging thread is that it is safest to leave the battery partially discharged if you are not going to use it within a few days.

Well, wouldn't you know it, as with any hobby, first time I can fly, Weather was raining, blowing, 4hrs later clear skies,,,,,,
But 5hr battery charge time, not going to fly first time after sunset,,,,
Oh well, there'll be other days,,,,,,,

Read some reviews on the Blomiky, they read good so here goes, price for two plus a charger is the same as a single stock battery.
