Need Help With Eachine Aurora 90

I'm not a BetaFlight expert, and not sure what you mean by the "best viewing", but I don't think you need to copy/paste anything when you exit. I never have and the setting seem to be saved to my FC just fine and the settings are all there when I come back in. If you mean best videos to watch on...

    Spork's Journey

I love the idea Doc! Although instead of a built in screen, I don't see why you couldn't just use a phone app to configure them. My new wireless router/satellite setup was totally done on the phone quick and easy.

    Spork's Journey

No wonder he gets such good reception. And that is one NICE house (and property) - I guess the micro motor business is good. Thanks for introducing me to his channel in one of your previous posts - I wasn't a big fan on first watch, but he grew on me and have now watched dozens of his videos.

Illegal to Fly Over My Neighbor's Back Yard?

LOL - I'm right there with you.

Illegal to Fly Over My Neighbor's Back Yard?

Seeing how it says "any structure" I would assume so. If not, it seems hard to comply with when the pilot is a person - or maybe they want you to prepare for takeoff, jog 75m away, then takeoff. :p

Illegal to Fly Over My Neighbor's Back Yard?

I saw the one a bit ago. I was the same as @ArmyVet, I knew it. I thought "destroyed" was a little much, though.

Illegal to Fly Over My Neighbor's Back Yard?

I know this thread is oldish, but I'm the type of person that doesn't mind admitting when he's wrong. I came across a thread on another forum that pointed this out to me. What I said in the quote about regarding maximum altitude is correct if you a Part 107 UAS pilot. @Chuck comment above where...

    Am I Missing Something?

Nice, I wish I had an open area that large close to home.

    Am I Missing Something?

Yep, gotta mind those temperature swings in the desert (and possibly with dessert too :p). On the last camping trip my son and I took to Big Bend (in August), we saw 120F+ down near the Rio Grande and low 50F at night. I realize 50 is not that cold, but when you spend all day between 90 and 120...

    Am I Missing Something?

Totally agree, Jackson. It's the reason I said sometimes. It's part of the reason I'm delaying do a build until I get much better feel for what I want - since my only experience is with a toy quad and whoop. I don't want to join those ranks of frustrated folks that end up with a box of parts in...

    Spork's Journey

So yesterday I flew some packs with TinySpork and thought I had collected some decent FPV feed video of Milo the cat chasing, trying to attack and following from room to room. I was a little ticked off when I realized I forget to hit the record button. On the plus side, I'm getting much better...

    Am I Missing Something?

I think one reason to build is sometimes it can be significantly cheaper to build vs. buy. But along with Jackson's point, some quads don't make sense to build from a cost savings perspective - that's when the fun, learning, getting exactly what you want kicks in as Roger mentions.

Too much to do & too little time.

I loved FarCry 1 and 2. Haven't had a decent gaming system in awhile so I'll be missing out sadly. I love the Mac for software dev and photo/video editing, but I miss my PC for gaming.

Or use one of these and go flying while it does its thing :)

MODEL RAILROADING WANTS MY ATTENTION AGAIN.....

Very nice setup, Hal. My father in law has a big setup like that, but it's all trains. I think you have more hobbies than any 3 people combined. I feel like you need a warehouse to store all of hobby stuff. Maybe one for the telescopes and another for everything else. Also, calling @Tentoes...
