While it's great that people do reviews on YT, I've learned to be extra careful with which ones I bother watching. Way too many of them give great reviews to crap equipment due to receiving them for free or other reasons.

I would assume so. I did see a couple LiPo fires on YouTube - one guy hitting a phone with a hammer and another with an RC plane that crashed. The RC plane made more smoke than fire, but probably enough to spark a fire in the right conditions.

I've seen that VTX in a lot of builds and have heard it's good for the money. Others may have better information. Why wouldn't you tin? It makes soldering life SO much easier. If you are only twisting it together to make it easy to hold together, you may want to look at using a solder buddy or...
