    Change Betaflight To iNav FW?

All the Omnibus F4's use basically the same firmware. Go into the Betaflight CLI tab, type version and hit enter. It will show you what firmware it is using. Then just check in the iNav Github if that firmware is available

    avoiding the clones...

Don't even bother with the Naze32 or CC3D dinasaurs, in fact don't even bother with an F4. Best board for your application IMO is the CLRacing F7. Lots of UARTs for peripherals, no more monkeying around with inversions and the layout is ideal...

Request : comments on Creality 3D Ender 3

The Ender 3 is basically the most popular budget 3d printer on the market. Easy to use and although it doesn't come fully assembled (very few do), it only takes an hour to bolt together. Note that the Ender 3 also comes in the Pro and 3X version, here's a great article on the differences and...

    Star Wars .. R2D2

That's great David! I've only printed quad parts but am interested in getting into models since winter is coming. When you have some free time perhaps you could start a thread showing how you prepare a print for painting, what type of primer, paint, etc that you use. Would be much appreciated

How to tell if I have enough filament for this print

When you're in Cura and you press the "slice" tab, the box that says "save to device" pops up. It shows how long in hours and minutes the print will take, and in smaller font below, it shows in metres how much filament will be used. So I suppose you could just pull the filament off the spool...

    Guessing at 400 feet!

Both GPS module and barometer can be set up in your OSD to show distance, altitude, speed, etc. although GPS will only give you a rough estimate, it can be out by a s much as 20 metres. Barometer is much more accurate and quite a few flight controllers have built in baros.

Yeah, I'd buy the Ender 3 at not much more $ than the MPSM, long before I'd buy that!

I agree agree that the knob is a a pain in the butt but I'm used to it so no big deal. As for the Pro version, I guess you aren't on the Monoprice Facebook page. The auto levelling feature is a total nightmare for every single person who's ever bought one and all end up disabling it.. As for...

    First drone advice

For anyone who's looking at seriously jumping into this hobby and getting a hobby grade quadcopter, the use of an iphone or tablet really shouldn't enter the discussion.

    Manual - skyhawk

There are literally hundreds of quadcopters called the "skyhawk" If you can't find one doing a google search, neither can we.

where does cc3d get power from ?

Correct. If you're powering your flight controller by an ESC with a 5V BEC, you only use one. You just remove the red power wire from the remaining 3.
