Quad still wont take off properly.

So I got my new transmitter a couple days ago in the mail with the receiver, just got that hooked up a little bit ago and unfortunately hasn't fully solved my problem.

It still seems like 2 of the 4 motors are spinning at a higher speed than the others.

When I tested it out earlier. I turned the throttle up just a little bit and moved the AIleron/elevator stick to the left. Well it did what it was suppose to and the right side lifted up but when the stick returned to the center of the transmitter, the 2 motors that were used to lift the right side off the ground were still at a higher rpm than the other 2 and started to lift up by itself.

SO I feel that I still have either a motor issue or a FC issue.

The first part you will see that I barely apply any throttle to it but you can continue to hear the motors wind up pretty high. (i know the right control is backwards at this time, not big deal at the moment) but when I apply the 2nd lever to the right you can hear is wind down alot!. When it is applied to the left it winds up very high.

At the last part of the video you will see me apply the throttle a little more and it lifts up more from the left side.

I cant figure out what is going on. Just want to fly lol

Could me a number of things, lets start basic, blades on correct way, mottorsspinni g correct way, fcboard setup for x copter, speen controllers set up and calibrated, all gyros/sensors working.
What flight controller do you have there hard to see on my phone?

Blades on correct, yes.
Motor spinning correct, Yes.
FC for quadcopter, yes

I cant get the calibration to work 100% on my quad when trying to use that youtube video.
Also im not sure about what gyros and sensors your talking about?

I am using the KK 2.1.5

On your kk it will have a sensor check option in the menu some where can't remember where ATM.
Put the quad on the floor and do the sensor check as it will check all the sensors on the kk2 and give you a report

I had heaps of trouble doing the calibration of kk2 and motors
You need 3 hands just about

KK2 ESC Calibrate

  • Props off
  • Turn FC (Flight Controller) “Off”
  • Tx “On”
  • Throttle to “Max”
  • Press down buttons 1 & 4.
    • Keep pressing until last step
    • Releasing the buttons early will abort calibration
  • Turn “On” FC
  • Wait for the ESC’s to beep its full throttle calibrated signal
    • Takes a few seconds
  • Lower throttle to Idle
  • Wait for the throttle idle calibrated signal
  • Release button 1 & 4

I was more thinking the beeping noise was suppose to come from the ESC's.

Every time I turn the quad on, those are the things that beep at me.

Yep that they do, good now we are getting somewhere plug it in and calibrated see how u go

Still nothing. Hooked the speaker up.
No beeping sound from speaker.

Just from the #1 motor.
Srceen on KK just says "throttle pass through"

i think you've held on too long in the throttle-up position and gone into the ESC programming menu (you can program various parameters for them just using throttle up and down, but seems like a right pain).

From the EMAX ESC manual -
"C2.Throttle range setting procedures
(when users change a transmitter, throttle range setting is recommended.)
Switch on the transmitter, move throttle stick to the top position
→
Connect battery pack to ESC
→
Two “beep” sounds should be emitted, means the top
point of throttle range has been confirmed and saved
→
Move throttle stick to the bottom position (within 2s), a long “beep” sound should be emitted ,
means the bottom point of throttle range has been detected
→
Several “beep” tones should be emitted to present the amount of battery cells
→
When
self-test is finished, a “
♪
1 2 3” tune should be emitted,."

So put the throttle down after the first two beeps, and let go of the buttons after the long beep. If you hold on too long, you get in to the params setting menu instead and haven't calibrated anything.

Any reason you've only got the one motor plugged in for calibration ?

And I'd remove the pros while calibrating if I were you !

Sorry i havent been back on here, crashed my computer and had to repair it.

Does that mean I have to solder my red wires all back together on the other ESC's?
Cause someone told me in another thread that I can cut the red power wires on motor 2,3 and 4 since it uses power from the first ESC.

Okay, I have to have bad motors.

Ive done everything I can to try and get this to work.
I redid the calibrating and still nothing.

When I turn it on and apply slight throttle to it you can immediately tell that the #1 and #4 motors(both left motors) spin faster than the other 2. When starting
to play with the controls, a random different motor will want to spin faster than the others and stay there.

So its got to be the motors or FC I would think

Im just going to send the motors back and get a different one

Have you made sure you have calibrated the FC on a 100% level surface?
It calibrates the sensors and if this wasn't done it might be thinking it's not level when it is
