Quad still wont take off properly.

Hi mate sorry been away on holiday , ok you need to set up the KK in the right order all its plays up, I told you to remove all the other red wires from the ESC but this was after you calibrated ESCs( this was on other thread you had ) , Ok what you need to do is program the KK with motor set up then go into the monitor screen all channels need to be zero ( not aux this a switch channel) if they are not you need to use the sub trim in the transmitter set up to zero the channels on the monitor screen ( this is not trim tabs it has to be sub trim), once this is all zero , place quad on a level surface ( must be 100% level as this it the bench mark the gyros use to know level) now calibrate sensors all should come back as ok
Now you need to calibrate the ESCs ,sorry if you have red wires off you have to do a temp fix just for now so they are all back on , Now power up the transmitter put on full throttle hold buttons 1&4 and Plug in the battery ( as jackson said use peggs to click buttons on ) or get some help as soon as the battery is plugged in your hear a bleep reduce to zero throttle it should bleep again this is now calibrated remove reds again on 3 ESCs ( only if your happy the ESC are calibrated)
Recheck in monitor screen all channels are zero then test motors all should start up at the same time if not go into menu on KK ( misc section) and adjust motor min from 10 up a point at a time till all motors kick in at the same time( max is 20) refit props and try it make sure props are the right way up as well as direction
Front left CW front right CCW , Back left CCW Back right CW
If the ESC calibration does not work the only way yous get it it to plug one ESC at a time in to motor pins 1 and calibrate each one in turn then plug them all back in to there right pins after

No if its good then leave it alone you may just be lucky they are closely matched , some ESC do need the calibrate to get them to work right

I had problems lifting off and I realised it was my fear, keeping it low and taking it easy makes for a messy take off.
Once I just went for it and got it a few feet off the ground it flew much better.

Thats ground affect , if you take the size of the props and x2 this is min height for a clean hover my 500 helis has to be 3 feet for a clean hover the 700mm quads is not as bad its 2 foot

Well go for the tri you can fill both wishes they do a 900mm tri copter at Hobby king just make sure you get a really fast tail servo ( digital metal gear is the best)
Or even better do a Y6 3 motors up the right way and 3 mounted below them upside down

HI mate No they are not flashed , you need to be careful these are for planes and helis so are programable , so when you calibrate make sure you dont enter program mode , once you all set up if your motors will not sink with each other you may have to change them I will look and see if they can be flashed

you can use them but be careful the esc does not go into program mode when you try and calibrate , and we cant be sure if they set ups the same on all the ESCs as they are programable , this is why we was all happy quad ESCs came out were made just for quads and coding works better on the motors

Good news, got the quad to fly!

I think I found some setting that screwed with it and I tweaked with them a little bit.

The stick scaling setting is what I changed
The roll was set to 6 and I changed it to 1 and it takes off alot better now.

EDIT: Well I may send those ESC's back then and get proper ones specific for the quad
