Hello, I'm just got my first video drone, a parrot bebop 2 power. I am new to drones and not very tec savvy so I hope you can understand what I'm looking for as my terminology might not be correct. I am really enjoying my bebop and chose it mostly because i thought it was a cheap starting point to find out what I could do with a drone and how I might use it.

I am a farmer and I'm looking to use a drone to inspect crops and irrigation along with other things.
The bebop does most of what I need but I would like more range and most important better live video. The video quality is fine once I get home and transfer the video to my computer, but I can't see enough detail while in the air.

So my question is, what drone will give me the best live video quality. So I will be able to inspect crops while in the air.

The two drones I have been looking at are the dji mavic pro, and the phantom 4 pro. Are either of these going to be better than the others live feed. I know the phantom 4 will produce better quality videos but I'm not necessarily interested in that, only in the live imiage I'll see while in flight.
Or is there a better option entirely?

You could get a tracking system to work with a 1.3GHZ UHF, combined with a 11 turn helical. That would get you around that 1mile easy maybe 3 miles . If you don't want to go the dji route.
 
I just found it. £500. Range 1.5miles,
Flight time 25 min. With fpv goggles.
Maybe you could adjust the camera focus for a better picture. Not much modding can be done to this. Battery wise anyway.
 
Maybe you need different optics if the goggles have them. The phone maybe needs to be closer or further away.
I'm assuming you are using goggles.
If not then that's why not much detail.
The only way then is to buy a high tvl camera.
